I remember walking into a card shop that sold Pokemon cards, it was when Fossil was brand new, I really wanted a booster pack but unfortunately my parents wouldn't give in.
As if mate I love Pokemon I used to collect them back in 99-2000 I even still have my collection I got my shinies in individual glass displays so they wouldn't get damaged it setting call me a hater you random

I remember getting these packs when I was a kid. I hated getting so many doubles back then, but now I'd give anything to go back in time and relive those moments. These packs were EVERYWHERE in stores. xD

People make a huge deal about grammatical errors but half the time when they're correcting someone or "dissing" them they make grammatical errors themselves.
Kabutops is my favorite fossil Pokemon and when this set first came out I remember buying pack after pack for about 5 weeks until I got the holo and non holo 1st editions of Kabutops. Still have them today.

Yes, that is my motto when looking to buy Pokemon cards, no matter how expensive the item is, I know they will be much more expensive in the near future.
that's wonderful, but i think what i'm trying to say is you spend a lot of time constantly showing repeat cards and at the exact same rate of time and over the course of a box your viewers have seen those same cards 25 times. I'm not suggesting doing a speed run, but maybe after a few packs just kinda flip through the commons and speed that section of the cards vs standing at a complete stop to review the same card's you've shown us in the previous pack's and reading them out at a preschool rate. I would guess the age group of your viewers are old enough to take an interest in these cards so we're not complete strangers. I also believe viewing or watching a video would involve sound, so maybe im a watcher and not a viewer just giving some feedback xD
Do you guys remember the good old days? when rare pokemon were hard and challenging to find, it was great, but now, we have higher prices for Ex boxes, rares are VERY easy to get, and now, pokemon fools you when you look at the title of the boster pack, you think you might ACTUALLY think you will get an "legendary" card. really, pokemon?

This was the furthest I got collecting the cards. Fossil was the latest addition to my old collection. Had nearly the entire base set. I don't know what it was, past the original 150 just didn't appeal to me. Like the illustrators were different? Perhaps I just grew older and lost touch with my inner child. Hey not sure if you know because you didn't mention it but that holo zapdos is a misprint. The upper left hand corner is not holo in the shape of a previous evolution picture. I got one in a lot from the flea market. Too bad they didn't put that on the grading label.
I was born in 1991 and when I was a young child is when Poke'mon first came out and I collected the cards and still have lots of them somewhere. I just came across this video and find it amazing Poke'mon is still going strong after all these years. Are these old cards worth anything anymore?
Thanks for watching my videos, I was born around the same time as you so I went through the same experiences with Pokemon, and it is still going strong today, older sets like Base Set, Fossil, Jungle, and Team Rocket aren't worth as much as I'd like them to be, but the 1st edition cards have a lot of value.
Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan both evolve from Tyrogue, I think. Since there fighting types, I found out that they are named after martial artists. Hitmonlee after Bruce Lee and Hitmonchan after Jackie Chan. Maybe there not named after them but its a cool little detail.
I really like the old Pokemon cards better. They are such simpler and the art on the cards is more interesting to me. I always loved cards from Fossil set for that reason. The new sets just seem too cluttered and hold the same value to me as fakes.

Kabutops is my favorite fossil Pokemon and when this set first came out I remember buying pack after pack for about 5 weeks until I got the holo and non holo 1st editions of Kabutops. Still have them today.

I definitely prefer the first couple of series of Pokemon sets up until about the Neo series sets, cards worth actually worth something back then.

You're so calm when you open them. I would be freaking out if i got a single holographic card.
Main reason for being so calm was that I was going to grade these cards so I didn't want to damage them.

The prices skyrocket on older boxes like this, every year they go up in value a hundred dollars or so.
