Tips For Everyone When Using Lesley:
• Never Spam Your Ult, Just Hold It When Trying to Look At where the enemies at, If enemies are Spotted, Cancel Ult, It Reduces The Ults Initial Cooldown
• If You Think Of Being Agressive And is Lvl 2 in early game, Then Make Use Of Lesley's Passive By 1st skill + Basic Attack + Second skill + Basic Attack, it gives you more damage to your enemy during early game and if you want to last hit the enemies
• Use Her First Skill Wisely, Her First Skill Ignores Claudes Ultimate as Claudes Ultimate is considered as a basic attack
Her first skill doesn't ignore wanwan i think since compares to claude, wanwan's ultimate is singular target and can work on invisible heroes.

1. Spamming can be good actually since most high elo players knows how to play around Lesley's ult. Just be careful of the area you use your ult in
Her 1st skill not only ignore claudes ult but it can reduse/ignore aldous skill when he ulting to lesley and ignore nana 2nd skill ;)
@@jayjade6003 yes but its most likely for you to waste your cooldown reduction, based on how many bullets out of the four has been shot reduces the cooldown reduction and holding the ult can help you cancel it quickly without wasting a bullet, spamming can also be good but sometimes holding it is more useful for players
Tip: Good positioning doesn't only applies to marksmen but long range mages as well, such as chang'e, Pharsa and cecilion. Whenever I'm playing them, I keep my distance as far as possible. My recommended distance is 1.5 Franco hook range, that's the best I can describe it.
Also you forgot nana and I also like to position with close range mages like Valentina since she has a skill to go in and out
Eudora is strong but squishy. I usually just kill and run for my life.

Not much to talk about when you're using Lesley. She's actually very easy to use.
Dodge every teamfight that could kill you (even when you're under a turret) and poke enemies until they're low enough. Farm until late game, aaand win the game. Not too difficult.

Lesley is actually a very good counter against many mid-range marksmen such as Hanabi as we saw on the video due to her long range poking damage, and her movement speed plus invisibility that she gets from her fist skill is also nuts.

@@eason9876 Her damage is depends on her passive/1st skill. Her base damage is weak. People don't use her properly. Never use her first skill to boost the damage. Uses it for escape or mobility instead. Like I repeated! Her base damage is weak.
as someone who play hanabi, i believe the hanabi should have position herself opposite the minion wave or hide in the bushes to avoid most of lesley's shot. lesley has no ult early game. she can then rely on her ricochet effect to poke lesley to lower her hp. if lesley underestimates her and overextends, hanabi can kill her.
i hate it when players cry because they see their teammates pick hanabi. hanabi can also dominate the game when played properly. all the hanabi they see are trolls so obv you will lose with them on your team.

Just a quick gratitude towards Beto. I wasn't taking map awareness seriously for the past 2 months. This time, I HAD REALLY WATCHED EVERY MOVEMENT OF THE ENEMY EVERY FREAKING SECOND. For the past few days, I improved a lot. I could see where the jungler took his path. I could see where all the squishies had hidden (sometimes, even the tanks). I only noticed and acknowledged my improvements yesterday, though.
I'm trying to reach the 1000 matches with Guinevere right now. I think I'm somewhere around 250+ to 400 matches.
Now, since I have been really good with my map awareness lately, it's now time to focus on my positioning. I have good positioning, to be honest. BUT, it isn't always that good. I sometimes walk RIGHT BESIDE or INFRONT of my enemies 😂.
If I would give an example of my experience, then it's probably my Wanwan gameplay. Even though I have distance from the enemy, I can't trigger her ULT (the past months). I really need to get close to the teamfight, the problem is, there are often fighters waiting to jump on me.

Guinevere is one of the best heroes to dive into the squishy backline, and since her revamp she's deadlier tha ever, one of my top picks for exp lane 👍

That is one of the things I mostly hate about going solo rank. There is always someone who wants to surrender like when you still have 4 towers or more. I once won a match in which we were 2 times near losing it was so annoying because the tank never somehow trued to protect me the mage Luo Yi that had the best KDA out of the team. A good tank is SO IMPORTANT

I needed this because I want to master all the roles. The marksman role is the most difficult role for me currently. They have brutal damage but are super squishy and they rely in really good positioning cuz the enemy will always go for you first. Mages also require good positioning but once u cast ur skills u can just run, but marksmans need to stay in battle to deal damage. Also they are the complete opposite of my comfort role which is the Fighter role cuz fighters are tanky but can deal good amounts of damage thats why I like them. So this is a very useful video for me, Thanks beto, very cool!
Lesley is a great marksman in good hands, but that can be said with any marksmen, but her difference is her mobility and hit and run tactic can get an advantage against any other marksmen except Layla, and Clint.
The way i set up my emblem with her is Crit Damage, Lifesteal and the 12% item damage increase.
Crit Damage for that sweet passive
and Lifesteal so i can just use the crab for a bit of healing at the early game, helps with late game too.
But wouldn’t the attack speed be better seems as u have a 5% lifesteal built into mm emblem anyways
An attack that is less than 5% is not better than 5% lifesteal unless of the attack speed is 10% or higher then it will be better than the lifesteal

That lifesteal attribute is useless because your basic attack is way too weak in early game to even produce any lifesteal

This game shows how important CC (Crowd control) is in ML
The enemies were way stronger in terms of damage like Aldous and Cecilion.......but all of them kept getting stunned by Khufra, Grock and Selena, and died before they could deal any damage
Enemies had only Franco who could stun only one target at a time, they did not have any major CC in their team. That is the reason they couldn't do anything and lost the game
CC is very important in ML

It's so unfortunate to see the Marskman that was feared the most prior to Season 10 to no longer being the viable one shot queen that she is. While bad players do play a role in her downfall, the meta, nerfs, adjustments and item changes definitely played a huge role

08:00 Do not keep spamming the ult it will waste your ult, instead keep holding your ult, if enemy is around the ult area even when you're moving it'll give the vision, then you can iust cancel the ult. This way the ult CD will be much shorter, in fact you can get or give vision to your teammates for much longer time , after 2 seconds enemies won't even know they are being monitored.

Lesley ult can be used alternatively as a ward, you can just hold on to it and not let go, it would automatically lock on to someone and reveal everything in your range without firing, then you can cancel casting the ult, much faster cool down that way.

My motto when playing mm and mages is always stay behind somebody or turret and run first when outnumbered. But strangely enough, I often dive headfirst into enemy's backline whenever I play Ling or Lancelot once I see they use their cc skills

Betosky always the best ml player till this day. Can you try Alice next, she is underrated right now because I have not been seeing a lot of alice picks this season. I think she is overshadowed/underperforming compared to other Mages such as Luo Yi and Yve. And the other Mage/Tank is likely the reason Alice is not picked that often, and that is the SUPER THICCC Esmeralda. I think she is consistently better than alice is all stages of the game and Esmeralda still standed the test of time and remained one of the best sidelaners the ever-changing meta.
I personally really think Lesley is one of the most viable non meta marskman. His kit and skills are just really good which also makes her a very unique hero as a mm.

Lesley is definitely one of the worst marksmans in the game. She has the weakest dmg compared to other mm, cant use inspire that well due to having low attack speed

When youre in the gold lane, always secure the last hits on the gold cart.. theres a difference of 25 gold if you hit it last. Lesley is one of those heroes who can last hit creeps easily. Its better to get all those gold carts than securing a kill believe me

I just played a game of ranked, ONE WIN AWAY FROM EPIC on my 4th account and 3 out of my 4 teammates stole my buffs and farmed all game in the jungle. Miya went 0-14, Zilong went 1-12, an Layla went like 7-9 or some shit. The only teammate that wasn’t in the jungle went 3-9, and I (playing Aamon) went 6-10. I tried my hardest but, was 10000% underfed and it fucked us all. Now I’m 4 wins away lol. It created a down spiral of shit teammates. Every game I had the most kills, highest KD, and highest turrent damage. Legit Miya an Zilong went straight to the jungle. I was taking my red as Miya was stealing my blue. 8 mins into the game she only had 3k gold. Zilong sat beside me taking my buff an tried stealing it. Miya an Zilong we’re a duo btw. They worked together to throw the game. I don’t understand why people play like that. Legit was taking the jungle right beside the turrent (behind the blue buff) as the tower was getting taken. Like wtf? There’s millions of people that watch ML videos and the majority of you get on there just to fuck over your teammates an ruin their experience. I honestly don’t care if we lose as long as we’re having fun. It’s the fact people get on there an intentionally try to ruin other peoples game is what pisses me off. I can’t keep a consistent WL ratio, get to higher ranks, any of that. I can’t even remember a game I did total shit in. You can legit scroll my profile an it’s all decant gameplay if not MVP. I haven’t even gotten a bronze in idk how long. Prob like 10-15 max on this account. I lost all info when I got a new phone so I had to start over and it makes me not even wanna play anymore. You can tell that most of the people at the lower ranks, want to stay at the lower ranks. If you read this book and you’re a decant player that likes to have fun an not ruin other peoples experience, comment your ID an I’ll add you. I need a solid 1-2 people.

@@ghostfighterz1646 she is not meta, but she is good enough to lead a whole team if done right. you just have to position yourself properly on team fights and be aware of the map always. she is mobile and stealthy which is decent enough for ganking and escaping from enemies.

Correct way to use lesley ult to check enemies: hold it so u can see exactly where and how many enemies are around u. u can see them but they wont know u saw them if u cancel the skill after holding it.

Positioning and map awareness is the most important thing for marksman and mage cause not only they are squishy but also the main damage dealer in team so without them the team will most likely get wrecked.

As a mage main, positioning is second to nun when playing, mages are the hardest hitters in the game and late game if your marksman is struggling, its really up to you to make the come back
Late game the assassin slowly lose their effect as the enemies get more items
Anyways positioning is something that took me a while to get (still haven't perfected it) but if you have good positioning even if your team is getting destroyed you still have a chance to make a comeback or defend
I like playing dash less mages it really helps train that side stepping and predictions

as a supreme lesley, heres a useful tip :
if u have started playing lesley, please dont pick lesley when your team doesnt have any tank (selena roam, or angela). if you want to play lesley so desperately, play her with a tanky exp laner. next, dont play her against aldous or karina or against any tanky enemy jungler as lesley would deal next to no damage on them even during the late games. but as a gold laner, she is very good against heroes that are short ranged such as moskov, miya or even wanwan (if you play her safely enough, yes you can counter wanwan). but never play lesley against beatrix, brody, clint and irithel as these marksmen can deal extremely high damage without even going near you. REMEMBER, LESLEY IS ALL ABOUT POKING, DONT GO STRAIGHT 1V1ING YOUR ENEMY (unless u think ure strong enough). thats it, goodluck with playing her!

@@shiningamethyst1724 i dont usually play won against her as she could easily kill me within 1 sec using shotgun or just using her sniper ulti and basic attack fastly. im not that fast hand enough. ill just play safe around her (maintaining distance from her) and try dodging her attacks while poking her a little bit. whenever shes out of radar, ill spam my ulti to know her location and to avoid her shotgunning me down. but if you think youre fast hand enough, using won against her is totally possible. but whenever i have beatrix as my enemy, id usually avoid playing lesley :p
Thankyou so much for this video beto. This will help me so much as I main mm. I want to vent for a second. Everyone knows solo rank is extremely difficult, especially in epic because so many people dont understand what to priortize and they don't care. People's stupidity has went down to a whole new level. As I said, I main mm so I can't really contribute to team fight early game. People are always out for kills instead of objectives, but even in epic most players should know by now that objectives win the game, not kills. So we're losing miserably because we can't do team fights because we lost every objective. Our jungler was saying over and over again to attack turtle but nobody comes, they just fight and die. Come late game, I'm trying to clear lanes and tell my team to clear lanes but they're just chilling in mid. I'm running back and forth in the map. Then my entire team dies while fighting in mid. Then I get called useless mm because they all died while I was cleaning lanes. It's so frustrating, I feel there needs to be some kind of requirements (other than credit score) to play in ranked, like a test or something about objectives and priorities. It's just SO frustrating. Okay rant done.

Lesley's first skill can actually counter wanwan's ult ,wanwan can't switch to Lesley if she's invincible (While Wanwan is in her ult's duration)
