@@elementaldragonslayer8512 the scenario here is you're being chased, your boot's armor really doesn't matter when you're chased, and switching boots literally took less than a second with enough practice
But if you are a pro (camman) you could quickly switch to netherite to leather boots and then carry on.

Especially a flame bow, which will wipe out the snow. It is *slightly* easier to counter than regular pillaring.

I would not reccomend doing this in a chase where someone is on your tail, due to the fact that getting the angle takes concentration and time

Here is the maths behind towering up normally:
The person who is towering up only has to deal with the pace of *placing a block* and *jumping up*
The person who is following them, on the other hand, has to *deal with the speed of breaking 2 blocks ONCE* , and then the continuous pace of *breaking a block* , *placing a block* and *turning their screen between places and breaks*
This shows that towering up normally is an efficient way to escape, and unless they have blocks themselves, your enemy will be following you even more slowly.
Builders using this instead of scaffolding to avoid using actual scaffolding
wouldn’t this make the getting to height limit speed run way faster

Now the enemy doesn't need to break the blocks underneath you anymore

guys with bow and arrow: GIVE A PERFECT AIM! BOOM!!
keep in mind this is worst than just towering with regular blocks since they dont have to destroy any blocks to get to you.

You can also make hidden mountain bases with powdered snow, I discovered that when wearing any sort of leather armor and just walking into the powdered snow will slow you down, but you won't take any damage. It hides your base perfectly
if you are being chased and decide to tower up you should uninstall
