    She is Russian and I can tell by the way she is speaking. Those of you saying Russians don't look "Asian", you're so ignorant! Russia has many indigenous people just like America and Canada. Also, eastern Russia is Siberia, which is Asia. Russia is in Asia. I'm native Russian and Russian.

      No you can hear that russian accent in how she softens her consonants. But her english is excellent and otherwise sounds totally native to my american ears.

      I work with the public. This man in Asian appearance along with his son came to me. He had his son translate for him. The boy conversed fluently in English, however everything the young boy said to his was in Russian. Immediately I looked at his ID he handed me and noticed he had a very long Last Name. I knew then that this man was from originally from Russia or close proximity to it.

      Yes.Even if you look at the earliest films shot in Russia at the turn of the twentieth century you can see that they have been a very ethnically diverse civilization throughout their history.Most of the Russian immigrants in my area are Jewish and its very common to see an older person bring along a son or daughter to translate.

    THIS COMMENT GOES OUT TO THOSE WHO THINK RUSSIAN IS HARD: Children learn ANY LANGUAGE in less than 3 years. Why? Because they humble enough and are submerged into it from birth. Learn like a child. Children are FLUENT and then they are LITERATE. If you try to be Fluent and Literate at the same time, yes any language will be hard. Just learn like a child and you'll be fluent in no time.

    • @migueld474
      @migueld474 Před 10 lety +15

      Children learn language so fast because their brain is hard wired to do so at a certain age. Adults have different psychological limitations than kids (who have many advantages) ,and require formal studying time. Immersion is still the best way, but it is going to be hard for an adult to become immersed without being able to read it. Just my opinion

    • @daphneslater5400
