#BehindTheScenes - Zábava
even watching the hobbit so many times, I still haven't gotten over this scene :(
same, probably never will
Me too..., the tears is always falling down my face on this scene
Im still in shock about the dwarf deaths
Especially Bilbo’s line about the Eagles. The last time the Eagles came, everyone was saved and Thorin turned out to be ok so Bilbo is trying to believe that since the Eagles are back, that must mean Thorin will be ok this time too…😭
Likewise 😢.
The way I started crying when Martin as Bilbo said "Just one more moment." 😭😭
What gets me is the way he goes “hmm? hmmm?” with that forced smile, trying to will Thorin to react and thus come back to life…
Say what you want about the execution of the Hobbit. The casting is spot on.
Excelente artista Bilbo te amo por siempre ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️🙋🏿♀️ eres el mejoooorr del mundo 🌹bendiciones para ti 😍🥰😘😘😘😘😘😘
Agreed. Many claim that Richard Armitage was too young for Thorin, but I don’t agree. Although Thorin is supposed to be the oldest of all the Dwarves in the company, he’s still 195 years old - and Dwalin lived to 340 years old. So considering Dwarf lifespans, I think it’s perfectly plausible for Thorin to have graying hair rather than fully white hair.
this scene is where the tear start flowing and not stopping till the end, the shot where Bilbo stand in front of his gate and answer who is Thorin Oakenshield and then he stepped into his empty house like a symbol of the emptiness in his heart, I just can't ......😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
❤️Thanks for your endless love and support you have consistently been showing me. I can’t appreciate the unconditional I’ve gotten from you, which has inspired me to give more sensational entertainment. I’m forever grateful. What country are you watching from?
4:25 I love Richards acting in this scene but the way Martin delivers this line is always what gets me. It feels so real.
Agreed. Martin, the master actor that he is, injects his delivery of the line with the fear and horror of someone who has never experienced war or tragedy before - a crucial component of Bilbo’s character. The death of Thorin is also the death of Bilbo’s innocence.
In my opinion, this is real actor's masterclass, perfectly done by both of them. I know, that there dies my beloved charakter, but I cannot help myself, I love this scene, this behind the scene as well as watching this moment in the movie. Heartbreaking and amazing at the same time.

@@LeonardoDiCaprioofficlswhy are you pretending to be Leonardo DiCaprio? He wasn’t even in this movie
Even watching a behind the scenes of Thorin's death gets me crying like a baby
Who cannot love thorin?? His pain, his ambition?? His deep sense of homelessness??
This scene brings the best in bilbo too.... His true emotions came forth .... for a friend he earned after so Many turmoils.
I cried so badly when I watched the third hobbit... first Fili, Kili, then my beloved Thorin... I'd read the book thrice before but I always completely skipped them dying. I just really didn't want it to be true.
But it makes the emotional attachment to these movies ever greater. Man I hate that they had to die :'(

I cry everytime I watch this scene. It's an end to a character we all grew to love because of the soul Richard Armitage brought to Thorin. And Martin Freeman brought such a depth of heart-wentching sadness to Bilbo's reaction to losing his dear friend.
i see the greenscreen, i see the directors and cameras... why am i tearing up?
Because that's what good acting is.
Watching this makes me realise how hard their job must be, take in note that all the visuals we see in the movie contributing to their emotional state are upsent, so not only do they act, they also imagine.
4:38 they should’ve used this take in the movie. Bilbo’s denial, his efforts to force a smile, followed by that total breakdown and silent scream at 4:45 is the greatest acting I’ve ever seen from Martin Freeman. Tears the heart right out of the chest.
this scene gets me everytime 😭

This absolutely destroyed me
I weep every time I watch this film
The Hobbit and my childhood went parallel to each other. I consumed Tolkien books like a maniac. Which is why I think that casting for the movie was brilliant, I cannot imagine another Hobbit beside the legend himself. God bless you for uploading this video. Take care and Have a good day :)

Damn, this scene really breaks my heart. The only movie scene where I cried out of sadness.
that scene was really emotional for me and this behind the scene remind me that so thank you
He is handsome and acts perfectly well his role is a hard one as and he deserves congratulations
This scene breaks my heart everytime. I rewatched the movies today and came back to watch this video. It is heart wrenching. Even the guy in blue shirt sitting beside Peter Jackson is wiping his tears(4:58).I could understand how the cast and the crew felt filming this particular scene🥺
I cried when I first saw this in theatre, I've cried during this scene every time I saw it on TV and now years later...it still delivers an emotionally charged and beautiful moment in the whole trilogy. Just beautiful.
Ever time I see this scene I was crying so much
Just finished this movie well my rewatch and Man I cried lol idc what nobody say Bilbo loved thorin
It still gets me, I weep every time I watch this clip and in the hobbit 😭😭💔💔💔 I cannot get over it,

I'm always crying when I see this
I seriously have the guts to reunite the two once more
I can not say anything more that that it really looked real and heartbreaking 😭😭😭
¡Que actores! Martin Freeman dio luz a la historia. Simplemete la ilumino un genio. Y Richard Armitage le dio el claroscuro brillante actuación de ambos. Brillante ambos.
Man this was so raw without music it hurt 2× more times 😢
And by the way Richard Armitage is such a memorable face!!!!!
Tears everytime i watch this scene.
and I’m nearly in tears yet again
Guess the reason why RA's characters die so often is because he does it VERY well lol. (Still sore about Berlin Station S3 and think that was a stupid decision, though. )
Like am so freaking sad when this scene is comming😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I LIKE THE HOBBIT
Oh god, THOZA 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 That is the BEST!!
This scene absolutely destroys me every time 😭😭💔💔
for some reason, this scene, behind the scenes, is sadder than even the complete scene in the movie.
5:00 bilbo baggins in shoes
Yeahh I noticed 😂😂
I wept like a child at this scene
Bilbo's shoes at the 5:00 mark😂😂😂
Oh,i'm sad for this scene,i don't like to see him like this situation, really my Heart crying..

if somebody held a gun to my head and told me to cry I would put on this scene bc I have never fully recovered from this
I’m sorry I was crying and then I accidentally played it at x2 speed and all I could hear was Martin breathing really aggressively and suddenly I was laughing and crying
This scene alone is so moving yet sad because Thorin Oakenshield dies but his final words to Bilbo are inspiration for all of us what are we willing to do to make this world a merrier place that is why i love Thorin Oakenshield so much it is because I frequently as myself that question
❤❤❤❤❤❤danke for this ❤❤❤❤

Experiment a bit? Ooh ok..
I don’t think they should have let Thorin die
Watches Beth March die. Watches Thorin die. Shit.
It amazes me that studios continue to green light flop after flop staring egotistical method actors like Jerod Leto who abuse the cast and crew because they’re “in character l” when there are so many great actors like Martin Freeman and Richard Armitage ( and Peter Jackson’s entire ensemble Middle Earth cast) who give way more engaging and compelling performances being team players.
