Great list man. So happy to find a reviewer who actually reviews instead of falls in love with the sound of his own voice. Two things: never knew about Honey Badger, looks awesome, just ordered one. Secondly-I would throw in CJRB Predator, just an amazing edc for the money. Thanks for the great reviews
Thank you for what you do Jay, it is fun and informative!,
1 cjrb Wharncliffe pyrite 2 brs apache 3 cjrb ekko button lock those are my top 3 for cheap
I got a wonderful knife today at a yard sale
50 cents
I am so happy.
Cool blades, thank for showing 😉
Another great list Jay! Some more to add to the list would be the CRJB Maileah, Sencut Actium, Sencut Acumen, Ganzo FH61.
The button lock that started it all for Kizer, the Swayback.
For $55 can't be beat !
Yeah, that one or the Cormorant.
@@TheKnifeBeater well we were going for under a $100 so I didn't pick the commorant.
What a great list Jay! Love all of them! The Atlas is so sweet! Thank you
You are so welcome Dogan! Thanks.
Always great lists. I finally hit the bell. Now i know why I wasn't getting notifications. Great channel.
Awesome thank you FF!
You weren't kidding, that's a heck of a list! Thanks, buddy. Have an awesome weekend!
Thanks David, you too!
Another great list Jay! Budget blades are getting harder and harder to find.
Thanks for another informative and thorough video. My top 5 include: The Kizer Original, Civivi NOx, Eafengrow EF966, Schrade SCHA9 Landshark and the Ganzo Firebird F753M1. All are great fidget knives, easy to carry and look amazing. Be well 👍
Thank you Mr Sliver! That's a very nice top 5.
Great list, Jay. You’ve inspired me to put a Kwik on my Riffle-just what it’s been missing. I think the Brazen is one of Civivi’s best (& a fun fidgeter). I need to get the Scoria
Thanks Ed! The thumb stud makes it so much easier to open now.
I would add the Sencut Honoris. You could get turned off by its 9cr18Mov but has worked for me well. Great EDC hard to beat at its price level.
Another great video! 👍🏼 👍🏼
Thanks again!
Totally diggin the Kizer Original. WOW!!!! Outstanding list.
Thanks so much Rich! Yeah, it's a heck of a knife.
Great list Jay I own 11 of the knives on your list thanks for sharing
Thanks Grim. Wow, that's pretty good!
Awesome list. I love my Cogent. I was surprised when I didn't see the Kizer Begleiter XL on your list though.
Thanks Will! Yeah, I gotta get my hands on a Kizer Begleiter XL to try out.
Where can I find the gold thumb studs you put on the Civivi Riffle Damascus?
Love your reviews. Roughly how many knives do you own?
I have the Damascus carbon fiber riffle from civivi. And I'd love to know where you got those thumb studs for yours. I'm assuming any screw and thumbstudge would work, but I would love to hear your suggestion. Maybe even a link because I want to put one on mine
I’ve had my Kizer button lock flipper Assassin in green Micarta (like yours) for two weeks, and it’s rapidly working it’s way to the top of my personal faves. At the same time, I got the Kansept button lock flipper EDC TAC, and while sweet in it’s own right, the Kizer out-performs it. I haven’t taken the Kansept apart yet to tweak it, so the performance may improve, but that Kizer is just all-around sweet.
Yeah, I feel the same way. I love that little Assassin, the action is so good in both directions. Kizer has definitely made a winner. Thanks Dobie!
I love the fidget factor on my asher nomad 3.0.
Yeah, that's one I still need to try.
How is the thumb stud access for the left hand with the Scoria? Does it flick open and/or open slowly easily?
I've been thinking about picking one up, but id appreciate anyone's thoughts.
Sog twitch 2, crkt hootenany, sog terminus I find myself fidgeting with alot
Been eyeballin' that 322 since it came out, so great looking.
So many good ones in this list.
Budget blades are having its time again this year, but yes, they're re-defining "budget" with the price increases.
Hopefully it doesn't get out of hand and we continue to get more and more models in the fifty and under range like we did in the last couple years.
I know what ya mean, I'm a little concerned about what some of these manufacturers consider "budget".
That brazen with green micarta and damascus looks legit for sure. Thanks for sharing!
You bet Paul. It's one of my favorite Civivi's.
Even though the Kizer Original is amazing, my preferences goes to the Begleiter XL and the Cogent. Great list, thanks!
Thanks Daniel!
Haven't been able to put down my CJRB Maileah in jade G10 that I got a couple weeks ago. It's the ultimate little fidget beast.
Yeah, it's a good one. I really like the larger one.
You make some Damm good videos
Where’d you get that stonewashed scoria?
Great selection of good knives. I would add my 949 petrified fish at 55$.plus the Kizer towser k at 80$. Fall shut badass knives. Blades so sharp that my hair jumps off because of fear of the edge i put on it.
Thanks Raliegh! Yeah, I've been trying to get my hands on a Towser, but they are always sold out.
The Ruike P801, pretty much anything Sitivien and Ganzo.
I agree Keith.
Just had this image of Jay sitting there with those 20 knives and putting them in order....this one is next...no this one....and this one should be here... lol. I would really like to see that Kubey KU322 come out in a S35VN and maybe with profiled scales (its a great knife, but I think it would be better without flat scales)
Lol!!! Yeah, that's pretty much how it goes when I rank them. I was thinking about making a behind the scenes video showing my video creation process from start to finish. I really like your idea about the scales on the 322!
I love my honeybadger, even more then my civivi elementum, wich knifes have the same action and feel like the honey badger?
I like my Honey Badger, which reminds me in many ways of my Spyderco Delica.
That's a good question. Maybe I should just make a video about it.
@@TheKnifeBeater voila next video is in the making lol
#1 Begleiter 2 XL #2 Civivi Cogent
Despite fidget factor between the Kizer Original and Civivi Altus, which knife do you think is better. Had eyes for the Altus until I saw the Original. Now I'm just confused 🤨😬!
I hear ya, it is a tough choice. They are both great knives with blades made from comparable steel. The Kizer has a nicer handle, it's made out of aluminum and the Civivi is G10. Both blades are pretty close in length. The Civivi has a slightly longer handle and a 2 position pocket clip. The Kizer is lighter at about 2.6 oz and the Civivi is about 3.14 oz. One of the biggest differences is the price, the Kizer Original is $84, the Civivi Altus is about $72. I will say that I like the grip on the Altus a little more, it fits my hand well. The Original feels good in hand too, but the handle is pretty much straight. To be honest, I like the Kizer Assassin more than both of these, but unfortunately both versions are currently sold out on Amazon. Hope this helps.
Yeah perfect after work a Video of you!
Lol! Thanks Dogan!
This is out of my current knives favorite to least favorite Kueby KU322C, SRM Knives 1168, SENCUT Actium, Eafengrow EF335 they are all under $50 Im pretty sure. The Kueby KU322C is my favorite all time favorite knife. I would pay a lot more than $50 for it the action is way beyond most more expensive knives. My favorite cheapest favorite knife I have is Komoran sheepsfoot I got from SMKW. I'm fairly new to knife collecting mainly do to my health (cancer). Trying to find other hobbies that aren't so physically demanding. I have this mental block on CIVIVI and CRJB knives and still haven't bought one because they are so common and expected to have. I'm waiting on my Petrified fish PF838 which I never or rarely see anyone commenting much on so I hope I'm not disappointed with. The knives I don't like become gifts so I'm always ready for a birthday or holiday which makes me look good. lol
You have some good stuff there James. The Actium is a great knife that I'm a big fan of. I've been thinking about picking up the Petrified Fish PF838, it has a good looking blade. Kizer is another brand worth checking out, they have some great budget knives in the $59-$69 price range. I'm glad you found your way into this hobby.
@@TheKnifeBeater I couldn't find the Petrified Fish PF838 in the USA so I had to order it from some far away land. I want the Miguron Velona flipper next but I've contacted them a few times and they say it will be available again but it has months now I even offered to preorder it.. Besttech Toucan, Ganzo Skimen AdimantiI and CIVIVI Praxis is another I may get. I seem to gravitate towards larger knives if anyone has suggestions
Orion Knives Solaris
👍
How many knives do you own, approximately?
Honestly, I haven't counted them yet. I would say I have about 400. If I didn't operate a knife channel, I'm sure I would have a lot less. I guess the way I see it, the more knives I get my hands on, the more confidence I have to speak about them.
@@TheKnifeBeater 👍
👍🍻
Thanks Ben!
Yo what happened to your hand?
I was born with CP, which basically affects my right side. That's why I'm lefthanded.
@@TheKnifeBeater Sorry, I phrased that question insensitively. I thought you had suffered an injury. I like the channel!
Frame locks are not fidget knives.
