But Deska is so fucking clean and technical even with those incredibly hard scratches. Idk, really hard to say who won. I'm just happy stuff like this is still going on haha peace!

IQ won because Deska has the same kuts. Deska is very good at the dope fast kuts, but he is lacking creativity. Once he expands in that area he will be unstoppable.
Iz gots to say, there is a fregn DIFFERENT SOUND THAT COMES FROM STANDARD FADER STYLE VS. HAMSTER STYLE. I mean, the scratches that I.Q. throws out from standard style sound way different then q berts hamster style, and I want to learn the I.Q. style. BUT CAN IT BE DONE FROM THE HAMSTER POSITION? Anyone have any pointers on what basic scratches to learn and master first, in order to come up with a style similar to I.Q.'s choppy style?
I had to watch this several more times to make some type of judgement. You could go either way depending on style and preference. But origionally when i saw this when it had just came out on youtube. I gave the win to IQ. IQ's third round did enough to win the battle. But Deska's final and fourth round were a lot cleaner and judging only off of that fourth round I think he should of won the battle. Big ups to the both of them though! they did there thing.
There is only one dj that doesn't look at his turntable/mixer all the time and makes eye contact with his adversery/audience. Both very dope scratchers though
Perso DESKA merite la victoire au delà du style ou de la technique c'est le seul qui à des Regard vers sont adversaire ou le publique +1 pour le Jeux de scène ^^ Et sur le 3ème Beat IQ passe en 2ème et même en sachant qu'il y a un changement de tempo il fait pas mieux que Deska sur la transition alors qu'il avait l'avantage pour le coup . Deska est sur propre et IQ plus Phonky, Ça a du ce jouer au feeling de chacun des juges au final je pense.

Desk was like watching paint dry, totally robotic and no swing or flow. Its too predictable, more like a set of computer instructions triggered in sequence with zero emotional qualities or human element. IQ was and is leagues ahead and the offbeat you describe is total mastery of rhythm whilst remaining completely in the pocket. Its something advanced drummers and percussionists do and those that don't get it think its offbeat or out of time.

IQ had much more variation in his patterns. Deska's 4th was cleaner than IQ's. Tough call, but I think the judging was correct.
