who is better it's all subjective, but the fact is it would be DOPE to see q and ricci "battle"...kinda like x-men vs isp....which was a battle but really it's not a battle and in the end i think it truly hyped up a lot of kids to wanna scratch.

q gives excel his credit... and according to him was doing two finger "twiddles" and not full on crabs which is what q and mmm invented... and q brought to the 97 dmcs showcasing with cutmaster swift/forgot his name

If I wanted to see somebody just bust out with some nasty shit to an electro beat, Id watch Q. If I wanted to listen to some 70bpm, funky type shit ill listen to D.
@fooloof i know this is an old post, but im still not conviced q bit his scratches. if so, from who? cause back then when wave twisters was born the only cats that were keepin it ahead were dstyles. you can hear so many complex kuts if you listen to that whole cd. ricci rucker who? i didnt hear about ruck until about 02. and ned hoddings was alive and done before gunkhole. id say rucker was one of my least favorite dj's out of that short-lived crew. speaking of short-lived, wheres rucker now?

qbert is a great dj but that is a load of bullshit-qbert did not invent those patterns - in fact, q bit most of the technics he uses from other djs.
