- I was devastated that my Poco M3 didn't turn on after a firmware update. This seems to be a very common issue. With this method you don't need to disassemble your mobile nor buy additional software. And do not update the firmware after a successful recovery or it will happen again (I tried).

Thank you. Had to spend 5 days without a phone for the battery to drain😞 but it worked. And I've turned off automatic updates.
You have to off the auto update to avoid black screen?
If this doesn't work is there anything else that i can try ?

@@user-fn9dm9fn1l i drain battery many times like 5 times but on 6th time it won't turned on after draining the battery and i replaced the motherboard of the phone now it is working fine i can do updates and stuff👍🏼
@@a4ush_ I did the same thing and fixed it for $20, but after six months the problem usually comes back. Is the solution in the video the only one available or do I have to fix it again, because the method in the video takes a long time?
More tips: Don't use official charger or any usb device that transmits data or you go back to qdl mode. Use a USB power supplies that don't send any data.

I did this bro but my phone always showing 50 percentage charge it's not changing so what I have to do and this my phone automatically turned off I just wanna get rid of it
It did not help. After pressing volume down and power it went black and again did not react on anything.
This actually worked on me 2 times but this time its different, My phone was acting up so i knew i had to restart and knowing it wont turn back on i waited for my phone to drain until it powers off automatically, Its been 2 months and my phone shows no sign of turning on? Any advice please?
Charge your phone for 15 minutes
After then try to on it again
Open it up and heat up the faulty part on the motherboard
Temporary boot isn't really a fix, this common fault has a few fixes, thinking the xda solution might be worth a shot otherwise the phone is unreliable
My poco watch video screen turned black why? When I rotate phone it came back. Giving up on poco phone soon
Mine is 70% I have give it to a service centre they said that it fully dead you want to by a new phone
I try to charge it after get it from the service centre it shows charging symbol

To potentially resolve the issue, try removing and sliding in the SIM cards before rebooting.
Mine is not working when the charger is not plugged to the phone.
Once I unplugged it, the phone will start on and off.
Why it takes so long to turn on if it switched off because the battery went to zero?

It showed me the charging sign and as soon as it powered on tge update started automatically and when it hit like 80% it shut off again and now won't turn on again🫤
I already drained it and the flash sign also appeared but when I tried to press and hold the power and volume down button , it goes back to deadboot again

Connect it to a low powered iPhone or any smaller gadgets like an ear pod case or smart watch. I'm not sure tho, just theorising.

Hii , my phone died after pressing the “install updates” then i pressed the reboot now ……. It ddnt turn on … is it possible to get fixed ?? Since the update hasnt been succefully installed ?
follow the steps in the video. you need to drain the battery. DISABLE UPDATES when the phone comes back to life. This fix didn't work on the 2nd time for me...

my phone started hanging so i tried to update it. my battery was 26% and now it's been 6 days its not showing empty battery sign. when i plug it into the pc it makes a sound. please help me out how much i have to wait ? it happened to me in the past too but at that time my battery was 48% but it only took 3 days to fully drain
Patience works best. Don't let the phone connected to the PC because it may charge.

I was wondering if it has anything to do with the firmware crash ? because previously when it happened my battery was 48% and i manually turned it off. It took me only 3 days to drain the battery and it turned on afterwards. This time phone started to hang suddenly so i thought maybe update would fix the issue. The battery self-discharges. It looses up to 10% power per day. It will probably take around 2 weeks to get a 90% charged phone down to 0.

Bro plzz give a permanent solution. Again I reboot my phone & same problem happened . Now again I have to wait till to fully battery drain.
DO NOT update firmware!!! You can turn off automatic updates following this instruction:
1. tap on settings.
2. tap on about phone.
3. tap on MIUI version.
4. open the Menu.
5. tap on Update settings.
6. disable Install automatically.
@@Unboxingexperience7 Ok bro Thx . but yesterday I have a system update in my Poco M3 & I download the update & after completion they tell me to reboot . And when I reboot it my phone won't be turn on & my battery is 35% so now how long I have to wait for fully battery drain.
the update causes the phone to crash... so turn it off the next time. 35% should be 4-5days.

What worked for me was
I drained the battery
Then charged
When the battery sign shows
I press the up button and power button together for 10secs and leave then repeat
I do this like 5 times
Then I leave the phone
It turns on by itself

Can i drain to for only 1 day? I tried doin it only 1 day and it worked somehow when i rebooted it it dont show the charging logo:(my phone is dead..
The phone self discharges up to 10% power per day. Thus, 1 day is only enough if your phone battery was almost empty before the update.
