Absolutly beautiful
Very interesting. Though I'd say that unless the new society is nomadic (thus the advantage of portability) it would make more sense to keep the skin for books and make thin joined planks of wood for the painting support. Production of these must be faster, and it's what they did in the past.
I use my fingers loosely cupped together to separation the yolk. The white slips though easily and I've had less risk of breaking the yolk.
What is an alternative to tanin? I dont have this in my region
Alastair Blain recommends black tea as an alternative.
