Transition Time! Vegetable Garden and Allotment Tour in June 2024!

  • This video I show you around my Allotment and vegetable garden on the 1st June 2024.
    Lots of things are growing well such as broad beans, garlic, lettuce and carrots.
    However some vegetables are struggling to get started. My winter squash is being ravaged by slugs and my row of parsnips only two seeds germinated.
    This time of the year is my favourite as there's still loads to look forward and we're starting to reap the rewards of our hard work at the beginning of the year.

    I got rid of my dwarf plum trees plums seem to be a sickly fruit in.my opinion always aphids maggots etc whereas my dwarf apple trees are much more straightforward

      Thanks for the info! Glad it might not be my poor gardening! I'm hoping to at least give it another season but elsewhere in the garden I might get some apple trees this autumn 🍁

      @@WiltshireVeggies i got 3 m27 apple trees from keepers nursery ltd and get a decent little crop but quaranteed to be 5 to 6ft tall only

      @@WiltshireVeggies otava , kidds orange red and a bramley they are all in the right pollination group to pollinate each other.
