- A 20-year-old mother was shot to death while pushing her newborn in a stroller in New York City. Police say a hooded man dressed all in black came up behind Azsia Johnson and shot her in the head. Thankfully, the 3-month-old girl was not hurt. Her killing is being called another bleak episode in a wave of gun violence that has gripped New York City. No suspect has been named but police reportedly want to question the baby's father.
Just knowing the newborn is going to grow up without a mother now is absolutely sickening. I hope whoever did this gets caught with life in prison without parole.
