Some might not know this, but I actually got into this competition pretty last minute. Tioneb reached out to me a week before the event, and I decided to join. My plan was to train hard for a week and focus solely on the competition. However, after buying my flight ticket to France, I got sick and spent the week in bed, just trying to get better for the trip. I recovered the day before my flight, arrived in France a day before the event started, and slept to minimize jet lag. I decided to showcase material that I had performed several times on stage to at least do it decently, but it was material that doesn’t really fit a battle. Big ups to Alem; he’s a beast, and it was an honor to battle him! I learned a lot from this competition 🙌🏻

Bro I love your style - definitely suits a showcase more, but to be fair - if you'd gone against someone with a similar style, it would have been way closer n you could have very possibly taken it. Big respect bro, keep doing you ⭐🔥👏

I'm just so happy that Alem's still at it, he's a legend for a reason, few of who still judges and still proves himself on stage face to face with the new generation, constantly reinventing himself while improving a timeless style. His energy is timeless and no one sounds like him, and it's more than the sound repertoire, but every single detail that's part of his stage personality; no one's like Alem, nor will ever be. If you are in depth with his body of work, you'll admire new routines as this one, where he always finds a way to refresh his way of expressing and impressing.
I always wondered why Jordox never did his BBU routines live, i've seen a few battles from him and i don't quite remember; behind the amazing productions, where quite well composed and rich routines. I believe he would stablish some beautiful atmospheres and show his more introspective side which i believe is way more polished and remarkable; still, he has quite a unique sound repertoire and cool ideas.

very interesting sound choices and pitching from Jordox, think people need to remember this guy was a runner-up filling in the spot so he had nowhere near as much time to prepare as others.
That said Alem in his natural habitat is almost unbeatable, it's insane. He really is a machine lol
