Totally did not expect to get 2 of 3 from the Philthies. Pleasantly surprised.
I totally expected us to lose yesterday but I was pleasantly surprised with the 5-1 win

I know we were going to win the series .. our bats was waking up in the first game just ain’t score runners when we needed

And Lopez just got an All-Star nod. Easily been the most consistent starting pitcher in the national League so far. Hoping this is a sign that the bats are really waking up
Got to love the Homer Philly announcers. That first strike out of Riley was not a strike three it was well outside. But of course it was just a thing of beauty or something. Umpires missing calls is not a thing of beauty it's luck

Can't believe MLB got this video up in a record short time, very enjoyable game and the kind that Braves Nation is accustomed to seeing from Atlanta, López was nigh perfect and in control and the bats..........what can I say? Ozzie's over the shoulder catch reminds me of Willie Mays famous basket catch.
Just like the allstar break turned the bats from hot to cold last year, the Braves are looking for the reverse this year and the bats could come back to life after the break just in time to catch the phillies. Stay tuned its gonna get good.

This was a good series for the Bravos. Don’t look too deep into it because Philly only had one legit bat in their lineup…it is what it is though. Hopefully this squad can build off of this series and not embarrass themselves out West.
They had at least three dangerous bats if not more......Castellanos, Turner and Bohm, the Braves still handled a very dangerous team.

To Phillies fans: keep rooting to win the division. Better than good chance Phillies get there! But, get used to the national broadcasts not nut hugging the Phillies just yet. The Braves fans had to listen to national broadcasts act like the dodgers were descendants of god himself. If the Phillies keep this up for a few years, some other team rising up the ranks will come along and those fans will hate the national broadcast nut huggin the Phillies. It’s a right of passage when a team builds a reputation of being a winner.
