      I haven't watched the video yet, but How much physical labor goes into this? I've received an offer, but I got my CDL to get away from doing massive amounts of physical labor. From what I've seen in person, you'd might as well just hang around and help them put the rock on the walls

    • @WhiteoutMonster
      @WhiteoutMonster Před 11 měsíci +1

      You usually have a partner or two considering how heavy the drywall is, its a lot of physical labor but very rewarding and plenty of progress to be made within your company. @@WhiteoutMonster

    There is nothing like watching a crew that wake up every morning want to do this type of work, ie; sheetrock/drywall and then the taping and seal. When a master class crew is at work, a badass song is usually playing in the back ground, staying out of their way is tough, because they are moving non-stop. Only one down fall, before taping crew comes in, floor covering, cause there will be a lot of clean-up. But it is so worth it when they are finished...

    We live an hour drive from Rapid City. We could have had our drywall delivered from a vendor there, but chose to support our local lumberyard. They delivered our drywall and two guys humped it in the house. Fortunately for them, our house is only 1500 SF and on one floor. It's been great having a relationship with the local yard. They are like friends. I really liked your drone footage It shows your home off well. Great looking place.

    Hello again! I am the subscriber who commented on Lead Lined Sheetrock..plus your garage door install..plus your cleaning the siding. First..5/8s drywall is used on ceilings as per Firecode..not sagging..which by the way, I don't know how you were passed using wood for your ceilings? Second..just to let you know Sheetrock is shipped and handled in (Lifts). .not pallets..or palletized in any fashion. Your delivery is called " boom stocked" and "scattered". I am guessing you went to Menards or some other home center for your Sheetrock purchase...as none of it is USG branded. I have over 10 yrs.wholesale experience of Sheetrock by the railcar ..literally delivered to my unloading dock at my rail-spur. P.S. Your porch uprights..I saw one that is Severely Vertically Split! Take Care Be Safe!
