    No Co Error Fix - RV Fridge Repair - Norcold Refrigerator Cooling Unit
    Our Norcold N841IM threw a "no co" error. We were hoping for quick and inexpensive, but it turned into slow and costly. RV refrigerators are a separate breed, but under the right circumstances, this can be a DIY project. "No Co" is short for "not cooling". Any number of issues can cause a "no co", from a blown fuse to a complete cooling unit replacement. Can you guess which route we had to take?

    Does Mrs. Barbara know how lucky she is that you can fix everything. Very thorough video this is gonna save somebody a ton of money. What a great camera girl you have, glad nobody was injured in the production of this video. Cheers

      I try to remind her, at every opportunity....just how awesome I am. She usually rolls her eyes with joy....at least I think it's joy. The camera girl was waiting for the crushing money shot...her chance to go viral. Thanks, Jonnie! Cheers!

    Lmao great editing and video. I got the dreaded code. I just finished resetting it with the jumper. Hoping that fixes it, but if not, this video gives me the confidence I needed that I can replace the cooling unit myself. Thanks for a clear and completely video, you really covered every base it seems. 🤙🏻🙏🏻

    Hey Ricky, I was searching for solutions to make my friends Norcold refer work on propane. It works great on A/C. I'm sure it is either the valve or the thermocouple. Anyway, your video popped up😃 ! Different problem but always entertaining ❤️ Take care and HELLO Barb!!!❤️

    OH NO! you spit out good beer! A guy I'm working with, just replaced his cooling unit yesterday, a lot of work. Love the special tool! You made this seem easy. I didn't even sweet. Really good explanation of all the steps Ricky! Loved the intro and outro. This video is awesome, it should have more views. Thank!

    Hi friends. What a fantastic intro! I like that you walked us through the potential issues and ruled them out to land on the main issue. And how cool that the repairman walked you through to diagnose the issue. That's a lot of work-but to save $1k? Sounds like it may be worth it. And I like how you bookended the video with the same idea. Great one, guys! Thanks for sharing.

    WOW! That is some work... I have heard that the Amish make a better cooling system than the original. Its hard to believe they want so much money for these types of refrigerators. We cant keep Ice Cream in ours if we have a lot of frozen items in there at the same time. It looks like it was rewarding repair seeing you drink that cold beer and Ms. Barbara eating the frozen popsicle. Great explanation on how this was done. Stay safe in your travels Friends 👏👍🇺🇸🥑❤️

      @RVUNDERWAY  Před 3 lety

      Thanks, Mel and Mette! It was a tough undertaking, but well worth it. Yes, amazing what the Amish can do with a hammer and beard. Great workmanship in this unit. See y'all soon!

  • @DownsizingMakesCents
    @DownsizingMakesCents Před 3 lety

    That looked like quite a job there Ricky. How does the Fridge cool now, how low does the bottom and the top go to. We have a 18cf norcold, but it struggles to keep the Refridgerator part cold. We like it to be at about 36-38 but it hovers in the mid 40s on warm days. Larry

    • @RVUNDERWAY
      @RVUNDERWAY  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks, Larry and Alice. Haven't had a chance to check it on a hot day, yet...but it holds around 35 in the bottom. We'll see this summer just how it performs under stress. Take care and have fun!
