there’s something about the inazuma ost that is so reminiscent of ghibli/joe hisaishi’s compositions. liyue was a lot more upbeat and featured traditional chinese instruments whereas inazuma’s is a bit slower, more sweeping and meloncholic. definitely reminds me of some of my favorite ghibli movie osts in the best way
they actually mentioned during the livestream prior to the update that inazuma was heavily inspired by studio ghibli movies so ~~

It's not necessarily sad to me. It's beautiful in a way that it gives melancholic vibes. It can be said as "sad" to some people, but I personally don't find it that way (about the music only though, the story is a different matter).
In this busy and high paced reality life, this game does give me inner peace, haven’t met such game for long long time

Track 26 (37:52) has no reason for being this sad and beautiful at the same time. Inazuma OST in general is a masterful work, but this one track just feels really haunting. It's so beautiful, so I want to hear it again and again, yet it really touches something inside, so I literally cannot listen to it without feeling sad and melancholic...

Kazuha was indeed sad, but he didn't blame anyone. Why? Because his own friend knows what happens if he breaks the law. Kazuha also understood that. That's why he doesn't hold grudges against the Shogun. Because it was indeed Kazuha's friend's fault.
Track 7 has to be my favourite. After hearing it in Ayaka’s story quest, it hits different. It’s not the most complex piece, but it’s powerful nonetheless, and gives a sense of wonder and elegance with its gentle melody that crescendos at the end. I could listen to it all day, and I’ve even caught myself humming the melody around the house

This plays in Inazuma city at night. The first time in I'm kinda wondering why because i'd kinda expect a city theme to be more bustling or maybe tense with the Tenshukaku instead of being so mellow. Eight times in and I realize this is the people's dying aspirations represented by Kazuha's friend and the statue of the thousand armed hundred eyed god, especially when this plays when you teleport to the waypoint near the statue.

25:23 has me bawling bro. The way the lead instrument kept going and going then trails off. audible helplessness right there. Tears running down your cheeks, on your knees in the rain in the dark type beat. It's loss and longing altogether. endless praise for this piece albeit short but it's just right. 10/10
The fact that this whole comment section is filled with "(timestamp) this song makes me emotional" and all of the timestamps are different, is really telling of how amazing the Inazuma ost is all together. Yu Peng Chen did a wonderful job

The inazuma leitmotif just imprints such a lasting impression on one's self. I seriously believe Genshin wouldn't be half the game it is currently without its beautiful score.

The best thing about listening to this Inazuma background music is that it captures the emotions of Ei wherein she was really grieving, depressed and lonely. You can understand Ei's deepest pain on these soundtracks. All she wants was an eternity for her people, in order for her to not feel the pain of loss again due to her experiences, just imagine she lost friends, and especially her other half which was Baal her twin.

3:41 when you first logged in on the day of the 2.0 update, did the ritou quest and was finally free to roam. Just being awestruck at how beautiful the music and surroundings were while all your favourite streamers were also streaming the game. That day was just magical
It felt amazing. You just reminded me of how many memories i've made in 2.0-2.8. :)
Track 17 played in Yoimiya's quest where she told the 2 friends to talk it out, It was a potent and strong moment and the music gave it just the right emotion. Whenever I go to the coast lines in Inazuma, this track plays and I just stand around for a couple of minutes to listen it. Great work Mihoyo.

A version that you can hear during night in a hill between konda village and the place where you start in Inazuma. it's an Hill near the coast where you can find a purple living flower (those monster that spawns from the terrain) and some purple crystals

Inazuma's poignant beauty is almost impossible to be described by words, but the music..it portrays every emotions and story perfectly well. They didn't mess up and it was totally worth waiting this long. Inazuma is perfect, IMO.

When I usually just chill in inazuma city, I hear this, and as a kazuha main this makes me ugly cry everytime I hear it.
I started playing Genshin recently and arrived at Inazuma. The first time I saw the city, I fell in love and when I started to notice the soundtrack and how it fits perfectly into each story of the place... It really took me by surprise. Inazume's soundtrack is literally one of the best I've heard in all my years of playing video games. It's a true masterpiece.

I somehow fell in love with the main Inazuma motif in 0:12 which you can also hear in other tracks. Such a perfect melody.

track 30-31-32 are amazing, has such melody and giving inazuma atmosphere perfectly.
I love how my heart melts after just one second of Genshin's OST.. How I close my eyes and cry. How I imagine myself watching lovely sunset, beautiful Inazuma, lonely islands. How I hide my soul from reality, how I enjoy every moment of playing this game. Nothing makes me happy anymore exept this Perfect World...
To be honest, if I could somehow get into the genshin world, Inazuma is the place I would live in. I would be a shrine maiden on the grand Narakumi shrine, worshiping Raiden Shogun and going about my days. Idk why, but that right there seems like the perfect life for me.
I listened to every one of these tracks while writing an essay. It kept me motivated. Mihoyo never holds back on the amazing music.

Inazuma's music is very calming, beautiful, yet unsettling. Good way of conveying what Inazuma and their citizen's story is all about.
There's something about the theme on several of these tracks (5, 7, 9 etc) that brings up a load of nostalgic feelings for me, reminds me of parts of the Suikoden II OST... I find myself humming a mixture of that theme and 'Her Sigh (Radat Town)'.

Hands down inazuma have the best OST right now aside from the Golden Apple Archipelago... That one hits hard especially the islands are gone now :(
Trust me those islands will be back again, mihoyo wont just dump away something that they spent a lot of time to make.

When you enter Chinju forest and this track starts playing it feels like a surreal dream, a fairytale, as if the forest itself is telling its story.
Also, the title "Murmuring creek" fits perfectly with the melancholic feeling that the scenario and the track leave you

I got goosebumps while listening to Track 17. Simply breathtaking. Track 25 (Ayaka theme) has to be my favorite as well.
Track 17 is the winning piece here. Sound so sad so much story and awe inspiring. Just like when we first walk up qingce village and the music start playing.
This entire playlist is absolutely amazing! It really helped with my anxiety.

Number 17 gives me the chills every time. I am stuck for minutes listening to this outstanding piece in front of the Great Sakura Tree. Incidentally this is also my fav spot for pulls (although it was not so lucky anymore lately)

Beautiful soundtracks... some reminds me of Inuyasha OST, some great anime/video game composer's style like Nobuo Uematsu, Joe Hisaishi, Masashi Hamauzu etc.. Chen Yu Peng nailed it!
