One would think that having such powerful magnets next to equipment with memorycards and displays etc would be a very bad thing.
Therefore i'm not sure having a strongly magnetized stylus is the best idea in the world.
The demo I saw attached it to a laptop screen with no problems lol

The issue is you can get most the things I review from DIFFERENT retailers. So in England it might be a different store/ site than the U.S. What I'll do in the future is provide I link to the actual product website (If they have one) and that way you can see what stores retail their product.

Does anyone know how durable these pens are? I'm thinking of getting one, but some reviews say that the magnets are incredibly brittle.

at 2:46 when you twist the magnets, is there some math behind how much each magnet rotates when the furthest ones are twisted? And why? It looks to behave as if there was a rubber band going around the whole bunch and they would not even be magnets
I don't know the math but the effect occurs due to equal distribution of force. It's the same reason a rubber band or a belt has a gradual twist. Imagine if the magnets didn't turn at a consistent ratio, now imagine magnetic forces pulling back on the ones twisted too far and pulling forward the ones not twisted enough.

I bought one on eBay thinking it was authentic but it came with a wrong colored tip wrong size clip and finally 1 magnet BROKE FROM A 3 FOOT DROP.
Also I was sliding the magnet across a table so it would clip back with the pen AND IT SMASHED COMPLETELY IN HALF
now I have 2 smashed magnets and the seller isn't responding to emails
The real polar pen is probably a lot better though

Although the magnets are strong relative to their size, they aren't powerful enough to harm your electronics. MAYBE if you run them directly on top of the motherboard, you might cause something to happen.
