I agree, Storm should make all of their figures scale with each property they have. Other than that, they are knocking it out of the park with each new character that comes out and are constantly improving any issues they come across.
This makes me very excited for their upcoming Terry Bogard figure. Cannot wait!

Yeah, storm's Chun-Li is above 17cm which makes her taller than Darth Vader (203cm) in 1/12.
Yes, Kyo never had a buckle on his belt.
this figure is basically borderline perfect
very accurate to the material and his ankles really don't hurt him at all, since in the game he doesn't really moves his ankle so much

This one actually looks pretty good, compared to Figma version.
Great review; I love Storm. I only have 3 figures from them, but the quality in them is so apparent. They really do feel like they're always trying to improve and do better and deliver great products.
By the way, where can I learn more about that line of figures you mentioned you were working on?

Rugal is taller than most of the other KoF characters. Love the reviews!
Rugal is fine since he is shown being taller than bison in cross over games but kyo is a head taller than he should be
That splits had me thinking about how good Storm's eventual Johnny Cage is gonna be in the Mortal Kombat line. No announcement yet but he's too popular not to do eventually.
Storm has shown photos of some prototypes of Johnny but not complete, only a teaser
I never played the game but it's a cool looking figure for sure.
He is technically the main protagonists. It's like Liu Kang and Ryu.
I read on their website, they will only release Rugal, Kyo, Iori and Terry for KOF98 line.

The KOF figure line has it's own scale and I don't think they never intended to have similar scales to other fighting game figure series. Either way I love how it's bigger. More bang for my buck.

They need to make a tekken 3 triple threat pack. All 7 inches in scale. Paul, Bryan, and Hwoarang figures.

Yeah, belt is accurate. While his other outfits do have one, that outfit did not have a belt buckle.

Tbh I like the scale. Neogeo sprites were huge compared to the Midway Studio ones. The size difference reflects that. But I'm not going to pretend it's not undesirable

Storm's SF, KOF and Tekken figures scales fine together. Only the MK ones are smaller. (I'm ok with that KOF, SF and Tekken have actually crossed over)
they dont. the sf figures dont even scale with each other... neither do the mk figures. you cant say a line scales with another one when it doesnt scale with itself.
So what it looks like what we will have to do is have a capcom vs snk display but with 98 and sf2 designs which is fine because that's pretty much the game went for even though the move list were different

I may be wrong but isn't Rugal supposed to tower over Kyo? Rugal is one of the tallest characters in the games.
Alpha Xion yeah Rugal is much taller in the games than the other characters

In the game I'm familiar with, he's only about a head taller.
@@AnthonysCustoms I just checked; Kyo is 5'11 and Rugal is 6'5. Thought Rugal was much taller. So the scale seems to be correct.

Yeah I agree cross compatibility across different licences was a big draw of storm for me (Ryu vs Scorpion vs Terry bogart...) I'm sorry to see it go, - or at least not work between the early lines and the newer stuff)
You noticed that the white shirt stuck to the black color of the jacket, at least to my toy if that happened to him. Could you check yours if it got stained on the back of the white shirt my toy was left as dirty

As an SNK fan, first and foremost, this is without a doubt the best action figure ever made (so far) of anything that belongs to that company. Having stated that, I wish the sculpt/face didn't go for the "capcom" approach of bulky, broad guys since SNK and KOF in particular tends to be more slim/anime more often than not. The skin is also a bit too tanned, once again it looks more like Ryu's than Kyo Kusanagi. He reminds me of the Kyo Clones seen in KOF '99. Those gripes aside, it truly seems like a great release and I wish it was a bit more affordable. It's certainly miles better than the very poor Figma Kyo.
why just they follow mk scale which are compatible with marvel legends.

Thick? Nah. It's tall compared to other fighting game figures. But the KOF line is going to be scaled around the same height so it will work.

Man, matt black makes so much forgivable. It hides articulation well and it just pops and makes figures look so much like statues or even realistic.
I enjoy your videos but it bugs the stuff out of me that you arent familiar with the subject matter of the figures you are buying and reviewing. It helps to have familiarity of what you are covering to be able to point things that are right or wrong. I just dont understand why you are buying and reviewing things that you have no idea about. But Im just some dude on the net expressing my opinion.
I'm not reviewing the source material. I'm reviewing the figure.
@@AnthonysCustoms Im not meaning to sound like Im attacking you for not or anything. I m just genuinely curious. Do you review alot of things you dont follow the source material of? I just feel like it helps with knowing that extra about what the figure is and what its based off of and what it can do to replicate what its from.
