I actually live in Dubai, so I have camped for 3 days in the open desert before. Next time you wanna do this, you might want to bring:
-Bug spray
-Sun screen
-Eye drops (because sand is guaranteed to get in your eyes)
-Lots of blankets (because it gets hella cold at night)
-A flash light
-An excessive amount of water that will seem like a lot when you’re packing it but will definitely pay off
-Sausages, hot dog buns and any type of portable camping grill
Top tip: DO NOT drench yourself in your water supply because it will wash all of the sunscreen off and you will probably get sunburned.
Trust me, I learnt the hard way 😉
