"Glory be, to the Sajuuk Khar!"
actually even the kushan are strongly split into clans and triber, kiith.
see homeworld cataclysm for that (most overlooked gem ever)
Warriors of the Vaygr Reaches! the moment of Prophecy is at hand... GLORY BE TO THE SAJUUK-KHAR!
I love sierra. They make the greatest games...
Homeworld and the (Second) Spyro Trilogy are my two favorite game titles.
I love this arabic vibe in those soundtrack. The same goes with the soundtrack from battlestar galactica.. It fits the space theme really well
It actually has a more of an Indian vibe to it rather than Arabic.
@@AlexIncarnate911 Youre all wrong, the madeup language being used by Paul Ruskay, is based off of a old Russian Dialect. Eastern European is the vibe.
@@SagaciousNihilist The music has nothing to do with Eastern Europe. It's obviously Indian. I can't believe this is being debated in the first place.
It is indeed North Indian music.
Bring Sajuuk to bare!
Bring Sajuuk to bare!
Bring Sajuuk to bare!
This is so pretty darn impressive.
The tribal music makes sense in the Homeworld series since at this point humanity has spent more time among the stars than they were hunter gatherers in Africa.
Best space game sound track ever ^^
I would give all my money for a Homeworld 3... I think its one of the greatest Sci-Fi series
yeah now you can H3 is a real thing now :D
A life in space...full of dispair and melancholy, fights, huge explosions and hard time exploiting the asteroids...
Apart from epicness of sound it's one of the Homeworld universe' details - humanity _is_ tribal/clannish at the time. Nothing to do with our prehistory.
god damn it now I must replay the series.
makaan looks funny being in water like that.
gloo gloo glooo.. (bubble pop!)
Oh god I hope they hire the same artists for the HD remake.
Glory be to the Sajuk-Khar
If I were to perish in battle, I would like to hear this sound dying...
I know that. Kiith Soban appeared in HW2, you play as Kiith Somtaaw in HW:C (Manaan appear, don't know about any others, S'jet is mentioned).
Not any more :D
Shipbreakers is now HOMEWORLD: Shipbreakers, officially.
And it has become Deserts of Kharak.
I meant Homeworld in-universe humanity. All their clans and such, it's in the lore.
Sajuuk, the hand that shapes what is
Makaan!
I've read the entire historical and technical background book, this is not news to me. I was adding onto your point rather than contesting it.
And this isn't about the humans. It's about the Hiigaran/Kushan Race and their struggle to reclaim their home from the Taiidan and the Vaygr united under Makaan. But I see what you mean, and I think he means that they are split into sort of 'tribes', but they are all different races rather than tribes.
it doesn't take place in our galaxy even, totally different "humanity."
@legosuperguy
They do but it's not really a good idea to put wireless links into a neural interface. You know... jamming, hacking, comm. interruptions, lag, etc.
*sees Karan S'jet*
wow, they have ion cannons and battlecruisers, but no wireless?
Old comment, I know, and it's not quite Homeworld, but Hardware: Shipbreakers is up and coming.
lol didn't know Karan had so much junk in the trunk
Sajuuk legendary starship creat by progenitor . sealed away in balcora .
Its just that those wires are so thick, do they own super nintendos too...? XD
We are tribal/clannish today. What do you mean?
I'm still not a fan of the final mission. One can't just send in uber-frustrating nuclear missile spewing starfish-like giant superweapons out of nowhere and with no explanation for an endgame like this.
Your wish may come true... Gearbox purchased the IP for Homeworld. Theres a catch though, it will probably be a First Person Shooter with atleast 10 DLC's adding nothing of value and will make Aliens: Colonial Marines look like a fantastic game.
"Gearbox: Where franchises go to die!" :(
Wow, I bet you think you looked like an idiot looking back on this comment.
So far, things are going well, surprisingly, although the Remastered Collection needs the Players Patch to work wonders.
Still waiting for them to cancel Borderlands and finally end Brothers in Arms though.
lol
