- Mercedes ECU Engine Computer Reprogramming. USED or NEW ECU it can be reprogram on bench. In this video I will show how to clone or how the clone service is done on Mercedes BOSCH ME 9.7 ecu.This ECU Engine computer has 3 data files 1 MPC
2 EXTFLASH and 3 eprom.
Common problem for these Mercedes ECU to Fail.
If your Mercedes sometime starts and runs good and sometime dont want to start at all check the fuel pump relay in the rear fuse box the ECU should give out ground when cranking if it dont the ecu is faulty.

no, no need to finish off programming at locksmiths or the 'MAIN STEALERS' as the data has been transferred over, 'cloned' from the original to the donor ecu. 🙂👍

The best kit to get are the 'RED' KESS and Ktag 2 separate programmers , however both are sort of 'cousins to each other, and work slightly differently, DO NOT buy the earlier 'BLUE' color versions, as they are crap, get the 'MASTER ' versions, NOT the 'SLAVE' units, comes complete with adapters and you do need to study up a bit on Ytube and forums to get the gist of how to do the work, best of luck, BLESS 😎

I bought a 2000 ML320 and currently in limp mode due to previous owner replaced the original PCM/ECU.
-my question to you is …without the original PCM /ECU can you program a new used PCM/ECU if yes, can you do it if I send it to you?

Why you did not write dirctly for new one why you read it and save it firest
we had a costumer make a mistake he wrote ORIGINAL on new ecu and on original ecu NEW we couldn't revive it didn't have original
After did this car is start and work if yes make comleate video until car start so then we can sure this procedure is good because some people say car will not start
is it possible to leave external flash from new ecu,i mean only clone eprom and pmc and flash to leave it stock?its possible for clone ecu to star the engine and run perfect?

Very good, 1 question do you have to reprogram the keys for the car in order to start?
i think he need to. the vin number doesnt change when he writing the files to the new ecu. the easiest way is to disable the immobilizer and use a good ecu with the same numbers. if the numbers is correct the checksums is correct.

STUCK on P position...what Do you think ? No you might read it but you will need to have software to verginize

From KTAG adapter. You don't need another.
If the ECU has the same exact part number does it still need to be reprogrammed?
When the numbers is exactly the same u dont need reprogram it but the immo have to be shut off
Hello, my Mercedes w202 C200 kompressor ECU has failed. I'm planning on to swap chip to new ECU. I've found new ECU, that differs from mine in only one field "HW', my ECU "HW" value is 48.99 and other is 39.97. Will that be a problem? I have also questions, what each field of this ECU means: "HM","HW","SW","Q01"?
PS: ECU OEM number is A 028 545 78 32 and Bosch one is 0 261 206 570.
