Obviously playing with a new third changes things but these fights really show how much weight HAL was pulling.
It shows how much a Hal and verhulst were pulling reps can’t compete with anyone on dz and neither can design

@@demjukes3837 dsg is a more aggressive team than tsm so yes he is accustomed to his team mates pushing up with him, just look at the fight on the bridge between siphon and maude, evan could have killed the enemy blood but was playing way to passive.
@sanjaysanj5603 evan isnt a natural fragger lol hes one of the best anchors in the world. valk and cat are his best characters so he shouldn't have to be on bloodhound
@sanjaysanj5603 I mean design was the first to die in a majority of DSGs fights or was late to the fight because he was sentinel. Reps and verhulst are much more tactical and smart players and having someone like design I dont think will work with them. Honestly I think DSG would do better with a better IGL as well because design over commits too much, and then the times his team wanta to push he stays back and snipes a lot more then he should

They just need a leader basically, plain and simple, a great one at that, honestly I think they will need someone new who isn’t part of a team rn, most likely someone no one has ever heard of

They are all amazing players, but i feel that Dezigns play style doesnt fit Evan and Jordans. Not that they couldnt adapt, but it might not worth it for Dezign leaving a team hes good with to adapt to another playstyle. I saw that Dezign just pushed in and died so many times, he does do damage/gets a knock but it leaves him dead.

I don’t think dezign is bad at all just not a good fit plus he already has a good situation with DSG. The boys really need to clean up their team fights tho regardless of who they pick up

I really like Reps as a player. He would be a really good player if the competition was all MnK players, but frankly his mechanics aren't good enough for a roller dominated Apex. If you look at the surviving MnK pros (who have also expressed they struggle fighting controllers BTW), do you think Reps is better than the likes of ex-Blackhand, Timmy, YukaF?

i'd say the main problem is that dezign is too aggro for tsm, there were so many times where dezign was pushed up by himself, got 1-2 cracks but would die, and then evan or jordan would refrag but die in the process leaving it down to a 1v1

I think for dez, he needs another co igl, not the kind of playstyle tsm rolls with.
The diff in playstyle is also more apparent with stuff like loadouts etc.
Thank god they arent going with Dezign. I would rather see them pick up a no name random with Jordan as IGL than them pick up Dezign's raging ass.

People forget that TSM with Hal has played for much longer together and did extremely poorly for the entire Split 1 playoffs, got 17th.
Then, immediately expects Dezign to just magically turn TSM into lan-winning team, while playing a different playstyle, different role for Verhulst, without time to build chemistry?
If Hal struggles with the current TSM, Dezign will definitely struggles as well. TSM is going to have a hard time regardless of who comes in as the 3rd guy, even more so now that Dezign decides to stay with DSG. Whoever the 3rd guy is coming in will be scapegoat for not being good enough by TSM fans anyway.
It's not just that Dsg does well bcuz Timmy and enemy have very high skill and low game sense so deszign being the brains and playing bad at times is ok but with Evan and Jordan its the opposite they have good game sense and lack A tiny bit of skill so deszign doesn't add anything
with the new POI system, they don’t really need Dezign anymore right? because they only wanted him because so that they could have a free POI and not contest

Evan and reps are too used to being told what to do with conviction. Dezign Is a decent player but TSM needs an IGL that shouts every call. Dezign is too quiet pre fights, he’s only loud after fights.

I don’t understand how people defend designful. Like he’s not consistent at all. Dude either throws or does a lot of damage and most of the time he’s throwing. Dezign using an Assault character with a sniper makes me upset, it tells me he doesn’t understand DPS or use meta guns to stay at level advantage with your enemy. If he could only use his brain a little and slowed down to think things through, he’d be a beast.

Why the Dezign hate? DSG placed far higher than TSM did in the last ALGS. They were match point even, and could've won the last match just as much as Reject if things had fallen in place for them. (Imagine if DSG 3rd partied Reject after they 3rd partied SSG who 3rd partied DZ.

TSM looks so lost with out Hal. In those games im not seeing something bad in Dezign play. Its literally unable to get chemistry in the first scrims. He do a lot of damage in the fight, tons of damage, but they are still loosing. I think its not a Dezign IGL problem. So how? In my opinion Jordan and Evan looks so lost in the fights and game. They literally dont know what to do. Its very strange to see this kind of plays from x3 major winners. Obvious moment at 10:30.

Imo I don’t think the igl should be the fragger.lol I know most igl are the fragger but should be the second one in due to being alive how much the team listens vs when he’s dead and the other 2 have to do split second adjustments going off instincts vs fighting for their lives while listen to someone that’s watching you Nate’s of in the moment least that’s more in tune per say than just watching 2 povs at the same time. Evan needs a new team. He’s been carrying reps every game. Reps has been washed since 3 seasons ago and it shows in his damage every single game. He’s constantly the lowest with 1 or no kills. Even is always the highest damage and kills on the team even when hal was with them. Now it’s literally just Evan doing all the work. He needs solid teammates and reps needs to retire and focus on content or switch to roller at this point 😂
