Suggestion: maybe when Andreas is back or you have a day when you can't do a normal vlog, does anybody else think a behind the scenes of another day's vlog would be really cool? I would love to see some of the footage that doesn't make your final cut, how much of the vlog is planned, how you set up all your shots etc, and just how you manage to put out such good content every 24hrs!

Hey Jon and Janni,
Maybe it's just my impression but it looks like you are really drained of energy recently (not only because of the jet lag) and who could blame you though - skiing, flights, different temperatures and places, lack of sleep, your high level of self-expectation in regards to the video quality, a new car, too many energy drinks/coffee, non-healthy food late at night (at least for Jon), the transition from Marcus to self-editing to Andreas to self-editing etc.
There are so many projects going on for the two of you and being an entrepreneur myself I can imagine you have this high level of pride to say you want to pull through 365 days with one vlog each day - but maybe it's time to get some much needed rest for a long weekend or a week, reset a little bit, focus on DB, meditate, recharge the batteries, enjoy some 'me-time' and start all over with much more focus, energy and maybe a couple of new ideas. It would fit perfectly into the week of Andreas' absence and you could compensate by uploading some BTS material, older but not published content, monologue videos which are easier to edit etc.
I am certain the vast majority of this community would support such a decision and would be even more excited to receive some ultra high quality content by the end of your break, it can also stimulate your creativity towards new ideas and projects and will ultimately prevent from burnout and over stress symptoms.
Just my two scents, enjoy your time back in Monaco and we only want the best for you, whatever it might be! :)

You might be onto something there! Been crazy lately but just had a delayed flight so git a 2h nap now and today seems to turn out to be a pretty chill day! One that I do need! No matter what I will power through 365 days. That is a goal and I never leave a goal! Just better planning and working smarter will sort my energy! I hope! Hahahha well observerd though! 😉

Love these daily slice of life vlogs! For an American, it's cool to see how you do things in Monaco. The DMV in the states is basically hell as well.......tell Janni that I love her light wash jeans and the blush jacket. Obsessed!

honestly i think apple is just has better marketing nothing especial really. Why pay double when you get the same specs for half of the price and dont have to carry adapters for everything especially when you are always are on the go. name one thing that mac is ahead of the windows base computers

Cant believe I'm with the vlog since day one.
Jon tell Janni I did the exact same thing for the same reasons regarding computers. Went from a couple of Macbook's to a DELL XPS. Couldn't be happier.
I just got a Dell XPS 13 today too. Definitely go for the Dell XPS 15 for editing, most powerful and the best ultrabook for Premiere Pro.
Jon's vlogs have been an absolutely huge inspiration for me! I'm a filmmaker from Sydney, Australia that makes weekly cinematic vlogs - im hoping to find some other channels doing something similar!

For me the xps 15 is the best choice currently, still waiting for the new Zenbooks with gen 7 i7HQ to arrive, then I can make my final choice. :)

lol why would he spend unnecessary money on a gaming laptop when he doesnt play games? He doesnt need a 1080, the only thing/s he needs is a very good cpu to handle the editing and good ram. The gpu isnt needed really. He should go with something like the xps models.
I got the new xps 15 and that's the best option for creators right now because of that 4k screen and amazing specs. Even though the razer has a better graphics card It it has older processors, the screen is not has good, no sd card reader. Xps 15 9560 all the way!!
From when the rendering doesn't use gpu? Also both ranzer and xps are amazing machines but I personally prefer the razer. A good gpu and cpu are not used only for gaming and a good gpu also improve rendering perfomance.
