I love the plastic Halloween skeleton laugh at 0:05. Like, that was a decision someone made. In this moment when Floop is looking at clay faces of himself, reflecting on the person he's becoming vs the person he wants to be, asking himself what he's doing with his life . . . Someone thought there needed to be a Halloween skeleton laugh in the background. Someone thought that would be appropriate and contribute to this scene in a meaningful way. And that person was correct.
@@kevinskywalker5539 This movie predates the first Saw movie by three years. That exact laugh was used for plastic skeletons and skulls that were popular in the 90s and early 2000s. They were battery operated. If you bumped them, their eyes lit up and they started to jiggle and laugh.
What I don't understand, is that I don't know Carmen wasn't hearing the robotic sound when Robot Juni was walking to her, and it's really hearable in this scene as well
Got to love how both Alan Cumming and Teri Hatcher were in two Bond films (Brosnan era, around the time this film came out) and have moral reversals. Cumming is bad in Bond (as a Janus terrorist in Goldeneye) but good in Spy Kids (a redeemed, misguided kids TV host under manipulation of a more sinister scientist), while Hatcher was good in Bond (as an unfortunate wife to the villainous media mogul in Tomorrow Never Dies) bad in Spy Kids (as a traitor working for Minion).
He was always the good guy. This is a surprise twist, cause you expect him to be the big bad, but he isn't. It's Minion. And this whole thing wasn't Floop's ideas, they were all Minion's. All Floop wanted to do is his show. Floop was the scapegoat to Minion's plan.
How have I not realized that?! I've seen this movie, alot, and never picked on that. Why is his laugh there, he wasn't made yet until 2004. This is surprising. 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
That's the laugh those battery-powered plastic skeleton Halloween decorations make. My family had one in the 90s. I think they still make them the same way now.
So why exactly is Minion there even to begin with? If the ideas are his and Floop hardly did anything except run a show then what use did Minion have for him?
To my understanding, floop wanted to do a show that kids would love to watch, and minion planned that Floop's show would be a front to do his evil plan.
Mr Floop was just a toy in Minions plan Floop was only there to help Minion while Minion "helped" him back if that makes sense There's a video on it on yt called Mr Floop: A misunderstood artist
You heard that, too? Also it's the laugh of jigsaw's puppet named Billy who does a creepy laugh like that. The movie is called Saw, and it has 8 movies in total. However, it's a really violent movie franchise.
*Minion takes off glasses*
*Floop is surprised that it's Minion*

That moment when you realize Monk was a supervillain before he was a detective.

No wonder why he acted so funny

Not quite. He knew they were mutating agents and he went along with it until this point.
Nah he was still ultimately a huge dick. The only reason he decided to bail on the plan was because it wasn't working.
Fun Fact: The Guy who plays Feagan Floop is actually from Scotland
Alan Cumming does a great American accent just like Ioan Gruffudd.

That wasn't a skeleton laugh. That was the laugh from the saw franchise made by Billy the puppet.

Holy crap, it's Adrian Monk!

He should have locked Floop in the lobby lobby lobby.
