Im from the UK and a "hob" is what we call a cooker or stove top where you cook with pans and rapeseed oil is used a lot in cooking as a replacement for other oils. Im not a fan of processed macaroni cheese. I would rather make my own. I think this channel is absolutely hilarious. I discovered it a week ago and can't stop watching. Lol.

I make mine with a basic rue, adding LOTS & LOTS & LOTS of cheese, about 5 different kinds 🧀😊 and add stewed tomatos, too. Sprinkle with buttered breadcrumbs then bake. My grandmother's recipe 🥰

haha when I was a kid in the 1960s in Canada I loved that white macaroni and cheese. The noodles back then weren't cut, they were long noodles. When I think of favourite foods memories that is one of them. Not sure if I would like it now.

Most 'convenient' cheese-based foods here smell like baby vomit to me. I've tried a few US recipes for Mac n Cheese and most have been pretty good except for one that called for Condensed Milk - heart attack on a plate! Love you and your vids - they keep the dreaded 'black dog' at bay xx
It may smells funny to you because it is all natural, we Americans are so used to all sorts of chemicals and additives in our food. So when we actually get something that is missing those it is odd for our noses and mouths 😀
