DBS: Super Hero's Gohan vs. Cell Max is one best lastest fights of the franchise.
Goku vs. Kid Buu (Majin Buu), Goku vs. Frieza and Teen Gohan vs. Cell
Piccolo VS. Android 17 is, in my opinion, the most underrated fight in the entire Dragon Ball series. Was it the best? No. But i feel that particular fight was so much more than what people thought it would be...which is what made it so good. It deserves to be talked about and acknowledged more, especially when it comes to the gut punches they landed on each other. The way those punches were animated was so brutal.

All the three fights from DBS Broly should be up here especially Vegeta Vs. Broly. Seeing Vegeta fight more defensively, turning Red God and the first fight in that Godsend animation. I’m blessed.

SS3 Goku vs Janemba deserved on this list and Goku vs Kid Buu was also a standout. Gohan vs Broly from the second Broly movie was also incredibly well animated.

What's crazy about the Goku vs. Majin Vegeta fight is that it was only a few pages long in the original manga. Which is weird since you'd think Toriyama would be able to allocate at least a few chanpters to the biggest rematch in the franchise's history at that point.

Some of the early DBZ movies animations were great too. It wasn't just beams. It was back and forth fights and dodges and real movements. Not vanishing. And the punches were shown. Wasn't just air and impact. It was shown.
Yes! I think that's what was missing in some of the later DBZ fights and some of the DBS ones as well. Sometimes, it's just a hail of energy blasts, super fast back-and-forth punches we can't see, and speed with virtually no travel. I'm not saying we can't have those, but there certainly had been an over-reliance on them.

the entirety of dragon ball super broly animated fighting perfected with incredible art style especially with transformations the super saiyan blue transformation with goku it feels like hes doing it for the first time ever and it shows hints of ultra instinct before going full blown blue

The one with Cell Max was the only fight that didn't include Goku.
Man, I like Gamma 2 a lot and I’m sad that he perished in battle during the Dragon Ball Superhero movie.
Fused Zamasu having to be deleted by Zeno left a lot of questions of who it would have taken to actually destroy.
No questions, they were out of options after Vegito. They would’ve been done.

It's implied blue goku would've been enough for him. Goku says 'if only I had a senzu bean'. Implying he's confident in himself at full power to beat infinite zamasu.

My first anime I've ever watched was Dragon Ball back in 1998 when I was 12. It's good and nostalgic but I've since moved onto One Piece which in my opinion is the G.O.A.T

I liked the OG Broly,when the Pantera theme song kicked in and he transformed to his Legendary form and beat the hell outa the Z figthers ,smashing them trough buildings etc . I expected Frieza vs Goku when he got super saiyan for the first time to be on 1st place .Goku vs Jiren was a very good one tbh .There were many good fights : Metal Cooler ,Piccolo vs 17 ,Janemba vs Gogeta to name a few .
That's true, there were more great fights.
The only trouble with the Dragonball storyline is that it suffers from the same problem as a lot of other action franchises.
They have to keep upping everything to make it bigger and badder than the one before.
And for something that's been going on as long as DB has, it's been bordering on the ridiculous for quite a while now.
To think that someone like Goku, no matter how hard he fights with his determination and will, even with his Saiyan ability to get stronger after getting beaten severely, could get to where he is now sort of really stretches the imagination.
But, what the heck, I've been watching it from the beginning. I'm not going to stop now.

This list is pretty good but Goku vs Golden Frieza shouldn't be here. The fight looked alright, but I don't think it was even better animated than Vegito vs Zamasu, which you guys put at number 10.

For me as a Dragonball fan when i was younger i must say that the best fight is Goku vs Vegeta for the 1st time. It is iconic and the best part is when Goku is using the Kamehameha wave and Vegeta the Galick Gun.

I get why 3D animation was used, let those animators rest for goodness sake. But, I will always champion 2D animation any day. As a majority of the Broly movie showed.
Let these animators rest? Good brother, you realize that Superhero animation was literally more expensive and much more work to produce than 2D animation, right? Superhero costed 70 million to produce while DBS broly only costed about 10 million.
Gogeta vs Broly had great animation but one big problem was that it was one sided beat down with Broly taking more than 90% of attacks
why is that a bad thing? it is establishing crazy powerful gogeta is now with access to super saiyan blue plus its not on gogeta's perspective its now on brolys with only one objective

@@MrJomalley123 yes but still if you look at other great fights like frieza, cell, kid buu, beers, jiren etc these are the foes that gave our warriors a hard time till the very end which actually adds a level of intensity and suspense of how they will be defeated, Broly did land blows on gogeta in his ssj form but was a total punching bag against ssjblue but afterwards he does transform into legendary ssj when the sky turns dark which should have given a significant power boost to Broly but that didn't happen at all and Broly still took the beating, I mean don't get me wrong I loved every bit of broly movie from start till end, I was just thinking logically it should have been like that

All I am saying that is if there are two types of fights: one where one fighter is way stronger than the other and beats everything out of him and result is obvious who will win (unless a twist of some sort comes) and the other where both fighters are almost on par with one another, sharing blows with each other and there is a lot suspense how the match will conclude and who will win. Doesn't the latter type of fight seem more exciting?

i also hate that gohan is so out of character and people seem to love him for that. he acts in a way he never did before, and will never do again. he becomes a sadistic beast. why would you want that for him? i personally enjoy my favorite characters when they haven't been tortured into madness, thank you.
Surprised to see Goku vs. Vegeta from the Saiyan Saga not on this list. I'd argue it deserves to be on here more than Goku vs. Freeza since that fight looks atrocious at times whereas the Vegeta fight boasts some of the best animation in the series.
I'm also surprised that Goku and Vegeta's first fight wasn't here.

Goku vs Janemba not being on the list is a joke. Best animation and art style in the whole Dragon Ball universe.

Goku vs. Piccolo was a cool fight, and they did not have to go super or turn orange. I always liked the original Dragon Ball more because it made people like Tien, Yamcha, Krillin, Chiaotzu, Master Roshi, Yajirobe and Piccolo look like great and invisible warriors, and not pushover weaklings.
Not to mention, going super, different transformations, and having power levels over billions or more is just too much and dangerous. In my opinion, having that much power could cause you to destroy earth or the whole solar system if you're not careful.
Wow really Gogeta vs Broly is #1. I thought it was Goku vs Frieza DBZ (Bruce Faulconer) would be #1.
