When you look at the numbers and overall big picture none of these bikes have a solid lock as better than the other ones. So you need to look at the history of the companies. Then how long has this model been around and potential longevity plus reliability of brand. Anyone who knows bikes is aware of the quality, reliability and dealership network for Yamaha is far superior to the other brands listed here. Yamaha has been building and developing the MT09 for over ten years. The only MT09s known to have suffered serious problems were destroyed by their owners lack of proper maintenance or mods. I would and did go with the MT09 and I am very satisfied with this bike. I do wish the cruise control had been available when I purchased my 2022 model. I have discovered the MT09 makes a very good sport touring bike and that is why I wish my bike had cruise control.

I have looked at many bikes and for my riding style and needs, I am planning to buy the MT09 SP. I want the better suspension in the SP although the standard MT09 would probably be fine.
