Straight in with the OG Gaunter plays, love to see it ;) you might be onto something with how good he is as well, if he got buffed in the BC to 7 power I reckon so many people would try him out
My biggest issue with Gaunter is unlike other two-step removal (Poison) his setup and Payoff: give Doomed and then destroy a Doomed, are too unique. Poison works well because the Poison cards are interchangeable as far as setting up/killing the target and the factions that can use Poison have several cards that do it. I honestly think Gaunter might be better helped by a 4p Will-o-the-Wisp and/or a power buff to Fortune Teller to let them play as a different removal package. It fixes a lot of his issues since you can then adapt to the opponent either removing Gaunter by still playing Will-o-the-Wisp or purifying the Doomed by playing Fortune Teller. I really wanted to test out the whole package but I couldn't justify it in this deck but I might try another time.

Does the game ever get boring to you without any new content? I feel like trying to come up with fun new decks must be so hard at this point. I really hope CDPR will try to use Witcher 4 as an opportunity to revive this game somehow.
I think if it wasn’t for the balance council I would have stopped playing by now, but I’ve been playing since beta and I’d say each month now actually feels fresher on average than it did before (except for card drops) - sure there are technically a limited number of decks available but there are so many variations, different possible matchups depending on meta, and there are some interesting cards/archetypes which are so underpowered they are essentially never seen until the BC might buff them
Honestly not really. I only ever get tired of it if I play it a ton in a short period of time. I don't usually do that unless I'm going to be busy for a while and want to prerecord several videos at once, and it doesn't last for more than a few days (and isn't unique to Gwent). The lack of new content doesn't really bother me since I find it entertaining to try out different things after the balance councils even if a few changes aren't things I'm fond of. As far as new decks, as with anything almost everything has been done in some way before so I just try to put my own spin on them. If I ever do get bored of coming up with new decks, I either try to make some of the more challenging, let's call them, suggestions/requests I get. That or there's enough of a variety in decks that I like playing there always seems to be a deck I haven't played in a while and have fun updating it. As far as Witcher 4 - I don't think it'll cause them to begin redeveloping Gwent, but I wouldn't be too surprised if they did. Personally, I think it's more likely they decide to make a Gwent 2 or incorporate it into the game somehow instead.
Great to see some fun cards that don’t see play at all. I actually tried to use gaunter (the doomed one) because the card has potentially a very high ceiling. I don’t like Petris filter, too low tempo, so I used defender. It wasn’t half bad but also not too successful. I’m not that great at deckbuilding tho. Nice pile
Nice vid bro! Og Gaunter's so cool its cheering to see him getting used. Maybe you could feature Bedlam in ur next vid as he seems kinda underplayed compared to other cards

Hello, great channel! i only play skellige and first time i reached rank 0, i want to start investing on one more faction, and i wanted to go for niiflgard, plus i love knight/warrior archetype decks, so is it worth investing on this deck? thank you!
Master Mirror and Gaunter are meme cards, and Regis is borderline. However, the Nilfgaard Knights where you boost the opponent's cards and take advantage of them are good.

To pronouce "Guillaume", it’s just "gi" as in "give" and "yum", Giyum. It’s not a perfect prononciation but it’s good enough.
