When the faction patch was released, you got faction points based on the ip the person was wearing, they patched this to be according to the rank of the person killed. I think they shadow patched it once they released the Lands Awaken patch.

Ok i see no one has left any info about this so let me.
Those random bonuses you said you got were faction ticks, they happen every 15min and they are decided by how many ppl you have killed and the faction value of the zone, ( you can find this out by going to your map and selecting the faction warfare overlay) at a slightly higher rank those ticks can be 30k. They are also dependent on how many other faction flaged ppl are in the zone with you.
An activity i do is fanking, i go into hornbeam wood with about 5 other bridgewatch ppl and sit right where the bubble ends and kill all the other faction ppl that come through the portal. It is an effective strat that can net you about 2m a week or 75k an hour. A bonus to this is you get to kill the ppl going on faction transport missions, when you kill them they drop some of the hearts they were shiping.
When the week is over you also get a bonus that i think is about 25% of the faction points you got that week. What i like to do with this strat is convert the points to hearts and then go on the small caerleon mission. This gives a 3 : 6 ratio of bw hearts to caerleon hearts. Doing this is time consuming but you just turned your 2m points worth of hearts into 4m.
This essay would make my teacher proud.
2:08 the points are determined by how many allied faction players have attacked that player, an untouched player will get you around 800 (depending on their rank) if you solo kill them

The problem is, they won't really learn the pvp because in YZ it's only people who learn too, not real good pvp players... the best way to learn is CD/low price build to gank and pvp in RZ/BZ

Gonna start doing this. Not exactly for the silver but more so for the experience. Seems like a great way to practice and get better at solo pvp. I've played for years now but all my pvp experience is zvz or gvg mostly zvz and they are much different activities. Got bored with Albion for awhile but realized I was done with zvz and wasn't pvping enough to have fun.
(Disclaimer: I have no way to proove this, just how its felt and what makes sense to me.)
The "Faction Defence" drop I believe is dependent on the value of the zones your faction has (The number of stars in total that your faction has at the time of the drop).
Ive noticed that it always drops at the same time for everyone who has participated in faction warfare since the last drop and the number tends to be much higher when we own a lot of zones for a large amount of time.
for extra clarification when I mention the zone value in stars I mean the number of stars each zone has gained since being captured (you can check by setting the world map to faction view and each zone has 0 stars when captured and gradually gains each one up to its max)
Again, this is info ive casually kinda assumed just from being around and watching the map a lot. I could be wrong and if I am please let me know lol.

We do Faction Ganking. Flag up for a faction and run to the closest red zone from the enemy flag. And gank there we make 14mil/2,3hours (since 4 days, daily) + the faction points are insane.

It's all fun and games until you actually go in a full loot area where players know what they are doing and your loot falls on the floor :D

New PVP Player here with Two questions: 1) Is there a drawback to do the faction kills? Isn't there a issue with gaining access to main cities (or is Infamy just normal open world PVP)? 2) Would love to see those videos with a range of gear level to see how viable it would be for not as established players like me. Would love to see you at it with not only a full set of T8 (if you can afford a full T8, do you probably don't need those faction point for silver), but the same approach with a T6/T5 and T4. With your experience you could even explains the difference in strategy and such. With the dungeons being obsolete now (loot is very poor) and open world mobs being few in number, looking for other relatively safe options to make silver. Thanks for Sharing the Wisdom! Cheers!
Faction flagged you don't have to worry about reputation which can lock you out of certain zones. That is only with hard flagging.
Took my time to learn more pvp while the game is in daily mentenance. You've got an editing bug at the build * the weapon* but nice build over all!
Yeah I didnt know you could use stun run on a spear
Been playing for a while but I am 100% PVE. So I literally have no PVP kills. Now I would like to get more into PVP (dungeons are now crap and open world mobs are over farmed) and maybe join a guild to teach me the ways, but because of my none existent PVP Fame, I can't get into any the PVP guild (active guilds I mean). Would this activity give me PVP fame? Plus I would not feel such as a jerk to knock down people in T4/T5 as they are not losing their gear. Thanks for the content! Cheers!

todo es diversión hasta que llegan los sujetos en 8.3 con una blob atrás y te encuentran, hay si ni aunque seas dios en pvp 30 sujetos contra 1 no se puede (tomando en cuenta que están en amarilla con mas razón te siguen) ya ocuparías un heler y otros 2 mas pero eso ya es zvz a menor escala.

Idk if you notice your killing people that don't expect being attacked it yellow zone so their going to do things differently than would in the red zone like not making themselves overweight in loot so if they get ganged they can run

Go as a two man team in 8.3 gear I did it near bridgewatch and we clapped blob after blob over and over earned 60k to 100k points per hr
The amount of faction points earned depends on the amount of fame the player receives from killing the player
part of the system for points is their rank. the higher the rank of the player you down, the higher the points you get from it. Also, you get more if you play on outposts instead of just open world. defense points are huge. I get 5k-20k after only killing 1-5 ppl if I do it on defensive positions. much less if just open world or offensive positions.

Chill method to farming faction point in yellow zone. My best point defence from this method is 16k. Better than faction warfare. But if u flag caerleon u dont get faction defence :'(.
I don't get it, i'm looking at the 1h spear and the ability icons for Q and W do not look like yours. This is 1h spear?
I put the wrong icons in sorry, it's supposed to be q1 (lunging) and w4 (impaler)

Gotta correct you on the repair cost thing. I wear 5.1 gear and it's 10k per knockdown. If youre an end gamer with high tier gear youre not gonna be knocked down as often. What I'm trying to say is ITS EXPENSIVE AF for new guys.
Agree! And with 5.1 gear you will fall way more often than someone with 8.3 (which I can't afford anyway). How much silver can we make with those faction points? at 10K cost a knockdown, is it worth it? Or is it still better to flag and run dungeons/open mobs in yellow zones? The loot is not very poor, but the same gear can be used and making 10K in silver drop to cover your knockdowns is not that hard. Open world bosses give 1K+ normally and dungeons have those bags that can fund the project.

5.1 is only 10k if ur whole build is Relic/Avalon Shard based

I have been doing this since the faction rework patch.
7443 faction kills. 5.4m faction points gained and hours upon hours of fun content.
I usually head to the YZ static dungeon of a rival faction while carrying 156 t5 merc journals, 1h of gameplay = 50k faction points, all journals done.

I'm still learning how to pvp and I don't have close to your spec. Can this be used to fame farm too? Or does knocking down faction players in Blue/Yellow zones not level weapon spec?

Yea that build is the one shot dagger build and it is VERY stupid xD
If you just used any kind of CC resistance or movement you could’ve lived. That is the noob hunting build and you fell prey to it

I played albion for all of 2 months, it just doesn't have longevity. If you are a legit gamer of ANY kind, it's a breeze. It's like a watered down mmo. Not much skill involved, gets boring quickly if you are part of any decent guild
El título del vídeo es completamente falso y probablemente todo los datos que da lo sean también. No mató a ningún jugador, sólo los derribo ya que fueron en zona segura. Dice que hace entre 30k y 40k por hora derribando jugadores de facción, claramente se ve cuantos puntos le da por derribo y son realmente pocos para llegar a 30k por hora. También a tener en cuenta, son jugadores de facción en zona segura, eso quiere decir que llegar mayoría está farmeando, por lo tanto no llevan equipamiento para luchar y muy probablemente sean novatos. Ciertamente creo que es muy decepcionante este tipo de actividad, esfuerzate más, creo que eres capaz de dar un mejor contenido. Saludos.
