  • Fanned the East side of the Moffat Tunnel Sub from Blue Mountain Rd to the East Portal of the tunnel. Plenty of action, both UP and BNSF. Former SP unit with alternating ditch-lights and dynamic brakes are always a plus!

    I know the sound of regular brakes, but I didn't know that there was a sound connected with dynamic brakes. Dynamic braking is putting an electrical resistance on the wheel motors, so what does this resistance sound like?

    600AMPS at 50MPh still don't know any other engine that can do that.
