Edge’s solo version of Sunday Bloody Sunday? OK, I’ll die happy now...!
I met Edge back in the 80s. Another fan there asked him why he didn’t sing more. He seemed get kind of embarrassed and said something like, “That’s Bono’s job”. He really does have a nice voice. Soothing.
His voice and bono's one are very similar. Great artist!
Different timbre and the Edge's voice is lower but he has a great falsetto. His voice is also much more gravelly. Sounds quite different to me.
That's why he makes such a great background singer - similar voice but softer timbre which sits well behind Bono's

I love his voice so much. He is an incredibly well rounded musician. How lucky anyone would be to attend a show where he sings a whole song himself-I’ve seen U2 live 3 wonderful times, and wish I could have seen a solo performance from him.
You can feel how humble he is always in the shadow without complaining...
Just has a quiet personality I reckon not as flamboyant as Bono. I actually find Bono a tad irritating lol.
Just as his guitar playing. Everything in service of the show and the message connected.
Each one brings their own special talent to the stage. The most beloved band in the world!

He is an amazing guitarist and his voice truly is similar to Bono's. His voice blends so beautifully with Bono's. U2 is my favorite band and musical influence. There's really no match to their brilliance in the alternative rock genre.
