Bro have you experienced stiff gear shifting in your Speed 400? Mine has gotten pretty stiff of late, like after 400km, the service center guys said it's because of the run in period, but Im unsure of the casuse.
No bro, I have not faced this issue.
1. Have you asked them to check the oil level?
2. If oil level is okay; then check after 1st service, once they replace mineral oil with Synthetic oil. If the same issue persists, then you need to raise concern to the service agent.
3. Until first service I would suggest you to please ride under 5000 rpm and 60kmph..
As were are the 1st lot guys, so there might be issues with our speed. So we need to monitor each thing minutely.

@@Rahgir_TheTourer I asked them to check the oil level, it was full in the spy glass, so oil level was fine.
But yeah, when they change to synthetic that might help. I'm planning to ask them to put the oil they use for the bigger Triumphs, think its Castrol (need to confirm), cuz I don't think HP Prolube is a good oil.
Also, I've been keeping my revs under 6.5k cuz that what the owner's manual suggested.
And do you think it would help to clean the front sprocket also when it comes to lubing the chain?

It seems you need to wait and observe after 1st service. I am not sure they will put Castrol in the first service itself. You can use the recommended oil and after 4-5 month they will schedule the next service for oil change and coolant top-up.
As your bike is in 2 years limited warranty, its better not to deviate from their recommendations.
Suppose by chance if there is any issue, they will tell that you have not followed our recommendations n other things.

Yeah every 2500km - 4000km you can do it depending on your terrain where you mostly ride. I have done it only once and it was not that dirty.
@@Rahgir_TheTourer I see your point there, I'll check with them if they have any fully synthetic oil alternatives available with them that they'd recommend instead of the HP.
And thanks I'll need to start getting used to opening the covers then.
Also, I seem to have some faint grinding noise that I can't pin point. Thought it was the chain being dry, but it's still there after lubing.

Why to clean and not just lube?
I have ridden almost 900km since the last chain service. So I had to clean it. One of the service guy told to clean it every 500km.
Only lube will also do the job but it will not be that efficient. It is preferable to lube on the long road trip where we do not have time to do cleanup acitivity.

No, it does not damage X rings. Unless you use Petrol, acetone like solvents.

@all-in-one8624 Heating issue as such utna problematic nahi hai. 400cc mein fuel bohot jyada burn hota hai so heat bhi generate hoti hai. Long tour mein with proper grear samajh mein nahi ayega.

Han Daily office le ja sakte ho. Weight bhi thik thak hai.. 176kg
aur agar aram se chalaoge toh as a solo rider apko city mein 27-30 kmpl ka mileage mill jayega..
Aur weekend rides mein maja ayega.
Milega kitna de rahi hai bhai
Maine bhi book kar di hai
City mein 27 kmpl
Highway mein with pillion +luggage - 30 kmpl
Highway wihout pillion aur without luggage - 35 kmpl
