As a veteran Inn Keeper of over 25 years. Actual Innkeeper not Air b b type. I've literally used all types of vacuums.
If you choose to use a bag less canister type like you have shown us your trick to empty, I strongly recommend emptying them directly into a trash bag outside or in the garage. Definitely, not into the kitchen garbage. All those dust particles you used the apple cider vinegar to stop from smelling and dusting out of the can floated unseen throughout your kitchen as soon as you unsnapped the canister lid in your kitchen. I'm sure you have a ton of great tips and tricks but I know my Dust control and Cleaning processes pretty well.

I own a cleaning business, and I do the same thing. Never put it in the kitchen garbage. Also, I have it on my calendar to change my filter or clean it, whichever is needed, every month.

MY grandma had dentures too. When my kids were little, we invited her to our house for a sleepover. My kids loved her and had so much fun with her - she would humor them by trying to play video games, make treats, and did as much as she could with them.
At bedtime my youngest went in to say goodnight to her and saw her pop out her dentures. Instead of being shocked or grossed out he looked at her wide-eyed and said “That is SO COOL GRAM- can I try them on??”
My kids have their own kids now, but this memory of “Great Grandma D” is one of our family favorites 😂❤!
Soak the strawberries in 1 cup vinegar and 6-8 cups water for about 30 minutes. Disinfects, removes pesticides, AND floats off all the dirt. Rinse with clear water and drain.

Important Safety Tip:
Whenever you put liquid into a spray bottle, WRITE THE NAME OF THE CHEMICAL or MIXTURE on the bottle. You can write it directly on the bottle with a permanent marker. If you later change the contents, you may be able to wipe off the words with acetone or rubbing alcohol. And if not, you can cover it with a paper label
Do this even if it's just water. Be safe!
Good idea. I've got spray bottles Everywhere and do forget what they are!
I not only identify the product on the bottle, I put the recipe on it as well.
I use Dollar Tree foam glass cleaner not only on windows but the final final gloss on my black stove and refrigerator.

You can use essential oil on the vacuum fiilter to disperse fragrance when you vacuum. It's probably more healthful than commercial fragrance, and you can use oil that gives the effect you want
If you put rock salt over ice in your cooler it keeps your ice longer and makes everything in your cooler colder! Amazing hack and necessary in the heat we have in Texas!

Carabiner clips work awesome to hang travel chairs on the sides of garage storage racks. Also good to hook plastic bags together. Keep dog leashes controlled. Hook over car headrests for kids to attach their travel pouches on. Thin dog leash great for zippers.

I love your tips and tricks! I use rubbing alcohol to clean mirrors and windows. It is truly streak free. I keep rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle in every room for quick cleaning. I hang a microfiber cloth over the bottle and replace as needed. Keep up the great work!

You can also flip a larger mouse/keyboard pad upside down with the rubbery side up and put it under a toaster or coffee pot and can then move it around on your countertop to better utilize space.
You can also use the dental cleaners for the glass part of the coffee pot.

Thanks for the tips & the laughter. I use denture tabs to clean my drains & sometimes I put them in the toilet tank & bowl. I also like to use baking soda & vinegar in the drains so my granddaughters can be amazed. Science, cleaning, & they idolize me all in one step. It's great to be the Gigi! I use the denture cleaner in the toilet too. I put them in as the last thing after I do a quick scrub of the toilet at night. In the morning, it is cleaner and fresher.

FYI on your zipper hack. You can also use a crayon for helping unstick a zipper. Nice thing about this is if you have something black like in your video you can use a black crayon and not worry about any visible residue.

Your little vacuum reminds me of that "hack" that someone wraps a paper towel over the intake end of your blow dryer, cuts the top off a large sofa bottle, then vacuums window slider doors or windows. Maybe some innovative person bought a whole load of old dryers and designed your tiny wonder. 💕☺️💞

I keep the bags from the insides of the cereal bags. I wipe them out, then fold up into a square, like I do with my plastic grocery bags. I then use these in place of parchment/wax paper for lining cookie sheets, or to put no-bake cookies onto, drop candy, fudge, etc. I make lots of goodies for family and neighbors during the holidays.😊 I also cut them into (approx😂)4” squares , to use them between crepes or pancakes, and stack them as I’m making them , to keep them warm and easy to separate until the batch is done/have enough for the meal.💁🏻♀️👍
For windows and mirrors, try putting equal parts of denatured alcohol and water is a spray bottle and use a microfiber cloth to wipe if off...works really well! Make sure you keep the can of denatured alcohol away from heat while storing! For someone who dreads cleaning windows, I was grateful to find this method. Love, love, love your videos!!!

To wash windows, I have a great tip that gives you sparkling, clear windows and is economical. I buy car windshield washer fluid (MUCH cheaper than the name-brand window cleaner!) and put it in a spray bottle. I use it with crumpled newspaper to wipe. NO streaks, great way to recycle newspaper (plain B&W inked paper works best), or you can wipe/polished with a clean microfiber cloth.😊❤

New to watching you, so don't know if you have done this: put straight cleaning vinegar in a spray bottle:after your shower, spray the wet glass doors, then squeegee. I have done this twice a month for 20 years, and the doors always clear.
We are a non toxic household so we like to put some 100% pure essential oils (we love Revive) on a cotton round and put those in the canister. It smells good and helps clean the sides of the canister as well.

Pro tip: save the raw ACV for food uses, ie for recipes and anything that will be eaten. Use the regular for cleaning (windows and counters etc). The small bottle was raw, that why it was more expensive.
I just cleaned my sliding glass doors with the glass wipes and yes they leave streaks. But I like them for my patio because the tables have glass tops and the dirt is crazy. I don't want that much dirt on a washable towel I prefer to throw it out. So I use them for many things on the patio including windows & doors.

Love you’re video’s. As far as cleaning you’re windows, I’m with you on that one. Now those wet sheets you got, you could use them on all window screens, even on you’re car dash and console steering wheel, and them some. Now I must admit that I discovered this screen cleaner while using Lysol wipes on my trailer door, then thought why not the screen? So I did and it worked so well, that it was clear as clear could be. Now, hadn’t that ugly bug on the outside of the screen I tried whooshing away, I might not have discovered this wonderful hack.😂 Till next time.❤️🥰

Andrea Jean, My kitchen cabinets are like black holes in the corners. At my age (76) the only thing I put back there is stuff I seldom if never use. My son put in Rev-a-shelf under my kitchen siink (both sides) under my chopping block (the double decker snack place) and my next to the stove skinny place. That last one is my favorite because it's 2 levels and holds all my oils and sprays like Pam, pancake mix and syrup.This company makes a shelf that will pull out and a then pull out a second one from the corner. They're kinds pricey, but it sure would save the knees.

Dryer sheets in with your vacuum filter also work great and they will end up collecting the dust and you can then throw them out and your filter isn't so icky.
I don’t empty out my canister in the house! I always do it outside in the trashcan.

Also I use the Unstoppable in bottom of my trash. I have gone as far as grounding some Unstoppable up and sprikles on the carpet like carpet fresh....works great!

Hi Andrea, Love your videos! My fav was the sheet tray pull out GENIUS!! For fruits, I do use a bit of white vinegar, a bit of baking soda and water in a bowl, it does fizz some at first, but it really cleans my fruit, grapes and berries. Then I rinse produce in colander, wash bowl, fill with water and add produce back for a short swim and dunk lol Works well for me! Lol Oh and for the vacuum, I get a cotton round or cotton ball and either add a few drops of essential oil or a spray of one of my perfumes on it and add to canister. Works like a charm ! Also, when I am done vacuuming and empty the canister, I add another round with scent on it to store the vacuum.

I fold a Downy dryer sheet and put it in with the vacuum filter! Then i throw it out after a couple times!
Also - Dollar General sells Aerosol spray Rubbing alcohol! I keep it in my bathroom mirror cabinet and use it to wash my mirror, sink and get that mirror like shine on the faucet!!! They also have a aerosol spray peroxide!

In addition to using denture cleaning tabs for garbage disposals, I use them on china cups that get tea stains. Detergent never seems to get the job done so I let on tab sit in the cup with hot water and a little detergent. Ta-da!

I loved these hacks. I needed an idea to air dry my reusable sacks from Walmart. The rack you used to dry the plastic baggies was the answer. After washing the bag I just turned it upside down over two of the wires. It was perfect!
Another Dawn Power Wash hack story..watermelon juice got on the white lining of my plastic tablecloth. I figured it was trash. I sprayed it down w the homemade power wash and left it about 20 minutes. I went back and rubbed the spits with my fingers. The red juice slipped right off. I hauled the tablecloth to the shower to rinse it, then outside over chairs to dry! Perfect! Ty Andrea for all you do. I really enjoy your videos.

Something you will not hear Anymore because of the whole new politics of getting rid of Plastic is that you're reusable. Grocery bags will contain things like salmonella, Even if you're only using it for produce. So it is very important that you get it clean!
PS YEARS ago I used to put Dawn in a water spray bottle, mix with water, and spray my dishes to not waste product. I laughed when they came out with Power Wash, but honestly, theirs is better. :)

Awesome tips! I use Fabuloso on my vacuum filter. You can also add it to a few cotton balls and drop in the canister. Also, the vacuum cord holder you can turn down and the cord just drops instead of unraveling it. So many great tips in this video. Thanks so much.
