    Look at the manual, all you need to do is set the tone and the pedal button and there it will switch to separate recording.

  • @chuckfriebe843

    The pedal itself is a mixer, so to speak. While it feeds the guitar into the same channel as the mic, the two sounds are not competing with each other. The volume on your guitar can be completely controlled by either the guitar volume knob or another guitar pedal and then the two sounds sent directly to the PA system, if you don't have a mixing console, for a live application. That feature is clearly not meant for a recording situation.

    on the TC Helicon harmonizer the guitar input (and output) is to provide the key for the harmonizer… unless i’m wrong about that… i bought it second hand with no manual

    Thanks for the instructive video. I bought this pedal thanks to you. One question, do you noticed any hiss noise with the pedal? I use a Shure SM58 and I can hear a very annoying hiss. Maybe I have a faulty unit. Thanks.

    This might be a stupid question but I am still learning pro tools. How can I have the audio play through my speakers whenever I talk into my microphone naturally without having to record a track?

    • @JOULIEFOXvlog
      @JOULIEFOXvlog  Před rokem +1

      I believe if you press record button on the track it won’t start recording automatically. If you press record in the panel above this is when it starts recording but I may be wrong as I haven’t used pro tools since 2008.

    I tried recording with the harmonizer, forgettabout it. It don't work. It was a disaster and we shut it down lol. I use it live. I had another harmonizer with a volume control. That was useless because it caused nothing but feedback. The Harmonizer 2 don't have that. I'm guessing the gain on your pedal would cause major feedback too. Try to crank it and see what happens.

    Maybe like the Harmony Singer it's meant to be used with the guitar running through it at the same time as you singing? Otherwise it won't track properly and have pitch problems?

    • @nowhearthis5067
      @nowhearthis5067 Před rokem

      It seems to need the guitar running through it anyway to work. Mine doesn’t work regardless.

    Hi Joulie! Great video! I have a question: the reverb affects both the voice and the guitar? Thanks.

    • @JOULIEFOXvlog
      @JOULIEFOXvlog  Před rokem +1

      There is a way of separating it. Someone explained it in the comment here!

    • @Playmanmusic
      @Playmanmusic Před rokem

      @@JOULIEFOXvlog So the answer I guess is it can affect the voice or both. Thanks!

    Bit late but on the flamma fv01 for pitch correction I long taught it could be green or red lightning, for on and off.
    Wrong.
    Press ot very fast then it blinks faster and goes yellow. Then it's separated. Green = Mic only, Yellow = both (and in my eyes better sound) and obvs red = off.
    Maybe this is the same on the fv02. Because I wanted to buy it, so I hope so. If not that'd be bad.

      Did u also see the "gain" on the backside. Didnt notice at first, too. Its like a normal screw like in the centers but u can turn it. There's also written "gain". You can also make it louder in the interface but rather than one on max and one low I prefer the pedal gain on half and the interface gain on 30-40%. The less gain, the better the sound. But I bet u know this.

    Perhaps your guitar bleeds in the microphone because your guitar is kind of like an acoustic guitar type. (semi hollow guitar)

    Just found this. I just subscribed. I will check out more of your videos. The pedal is ok. I have the TC Helicon Harmonizor 2. I keep the tone on all the time. My level is a 12. I have the octave just to where it doubles my voice and my reverb level is off.

      In the TC Helicon, we need to select key? Or feed the pedal with chords? And about this Flamma one, is it required?
