Thanks for your reviewing, Ana Gabriel it's one of my favorite singers ever, due to her emotional and unique way to sing, despite her amazing success in Latinamerica and our homeland Mexico, there's too a lot of people who says she's an awful singer due to her voice (personally I consider them ignorants because such kind of voices are no able to last for a life, as her voice has lasted all these years, she's 65 this year), and indeed as you said Juan Gabriel and Ana Gabriel had an amazing and lovely relationship, her real name is Maria Guadalupe Araujo Yong (she has chinese heritage) and she choose her artistic name in honor of Juan Gabriel (real name Alberto Aguilera Valadez) because he's her favorite artists ever, and he wrote this song Luna with only her in his mind, that's why this song it's so iconic across the latinamerica community, I think she's the last great female singer Mexicano has given to the world not just by her voice and emotion, but also by the wide array of musical styles she performed, thank God she never gave up because on the early stage of her career most of the record labels didn't want to sign her because they thought her voice was ugly and wasn't suitable for mainstream music, she had to work so hard for 10 years until her chance arrive in mid 80's as a composer for other singer which help her to caught the attention of record labels, after it she recorded her first album Un Estilo where she has to supress her distinctive voice by orders of the executives of her company, after it she participated three years in a row in the Festival OTI (kinda of Eurovision Song Contest for Latinoamerica) with Búscame in 1985, A Tu Lado in 1986 and the last one in 1987 she achieved 3rd place with her song Ay! Amor, would love you to react to that song, it's very powerful, also the tunes of Quién Cómo Tú and Aquí Estoy
