- Power Book 2 Ghost Season 4 Episode 5, which was the mid-season finale didn't leave us on exactly the cliffhangers we would have hoped, but there's a lot to look forward to going into Part 2 of Power Book 2 Ghost, which will be returning on September 6th. Power Ghost will be on a break, but judging by the short teaser that they've released, the game is about to change for Tariq St Patrick and the Tejada's. Detective Carter looks like he's ready to put away one of the players in Power Ghost, which could potentially be Dru, we have Tariq shedding a tear, Diana in danger and so is Effie. In this breakdown for Power Ghost, i run through the exclusive teaser for Part 2 and generally what we can expect in regards to a few of our players for Power Book 2 Ghost Season 4.

The writers made it clear Cane is a lower level touchable tyrant. He got choked out by Obi, Mecca G checked Cane, and Lorenzo Sr. hemmed him up too. Cane is just a foot soldier maybe on the level of Dre Coleman… maybe

It looks like Tariq talking to Effie lying in a bed with tears in his eyes. Effie gets shot or beat up because Kane going to connect the dots and realize she tried to start a war with Noma and Zion. Thinking she was working with Tariq. Effie's mom visits her in the hospital. They raid the Tejadas looking for Drew & Diana for the murder of Salim. Using their phones they see Drew was the last person Diana called. That's why Drew is being dragged by the cops. Diana thinking about her baby and not wanting it to grow up in that life chooses Tariq and flips on her family. They were out to get her that night. Tariq plants the gun on Kane! That's why he told him I’ll see you sooner than you think. Tariq kidnaps Noma's daughter when they link on the weekend. Kane pulls a gun on Diana thinking she can tell him where he's at. More reason for her to give Kane up is because she knows her life will never be normal with Kane and Monet alive and free. That's all I got! 😂😂😂 disclaimer: these events are not in order 😂

For the story, I believe Tariq and Diana should have the baby. It gives Tariq more purpose and a storyline that has potential to continue the power series. I don’t see why they would build all that up to take Diana out and the baby. Yes, they did that to Tommy but Tommy didn’t even know Holly was pregnant, Tariq knows Diana is and I feel would have her back no matter what since she’s carrying his seed. It’ll be just lame if they disintegrate a potential storyline like that in my opinion.

Davis had Tate find a way to drop the charges as Davis, Tariq & The Tejadas knows it was him who exposed the Weston Ponzi scheme.
Ghost was forced to keep operating between two worlds. It was the people around him that wouldn't allow him to go legit. No one really knew that James San Patrick and Ghost were the same person. So actually could have went legit but Tommy and Tasha were the main ones that wouldn't allow it.
So this is what Tariq hasn't learned. When in the game no one is ever safe.
Um no. His past actions and his legit business needed more and more capital to keep going and compete. That was the whole underlying tension as much as he blamed the ppl around him, it was his own hubris that led to his downfall. Something we see repeated in his Son.

Part 2 looks a lot better. It’s actually a good move from Carter. Let the drug dealers etc take each other out but don’t harm civilians. He is right it’s impossible to catch all of them so try to at least control them. It does look like Dru is in an orange jumpsuit. I don’t feel good about Diana either. Wonder how much of a time lapse it will be once episode 6 airs in September..

It would nice to see Tate back but Larenz Tate was supposed to get a spin off but it was cancelled before it started. I do not know what is going on at Starz.

In episode 5 we saw Carter get Monet and Dru under his thumb now I think we’re about to see him to the same to Tariq and I’ll think he’ll do that by figuring out that he killed salim and jr and I think he’ll extort him for restitution payments for their deaths I could also see him finding out about Diana being pregnant and taking out her and the baby and it’ll be his way of saying to Tariq “ you took them from their parents so I’m gonna take your kid from you” I could also see him killing Tasha to hurt Tariq since he’s the one who mentioned her being kicked out of wit sec
Then he would be breaking his own code if he takes them out because riq is the guilty one not them. I think the Tejadas get blamed for the murder and riq steps in on Diana and his baby behalf. But I also think riq gets caught up with Carter after he kills Zion and take over his spot. That’s why him and Davis meeting with noma/cane.

Like Cane is to Noma, Davis is to Tariq. That was a foreshadowing of the relationships between the 4. Cane is his own man, yet loyal to Noma. Davis is his own man, long as the money is right. Yet is loyal to Tariq. This is going to be very interesting Sept 6th
