Christiane is the journalistic hero of my generation. Thank you Mme Amanpour.
Miss Trevor Noah so much
You don't report, "One person says it's raining and another person says it's not." No, you look outside and report the truth.
Dorothy Butler Gilliam is one of the Journalists that I grew up with. She & her colleagues are the reason the media is called the Fourth Estate. Their role in government was to hold The USA's Three Branches accountable for everything they did. They were, in part, the intermediaries for the citizenry. They explained to us in everyday language what our government was doing on our behalf. Their role is imperative to the continuation of democracy. In every country that had a dictator rise to power, the first people to go were the Journalists, & doing so was a calculated move on the part of those dictators.
Ms. Butler Gilliam represents those Journalists who took their profession seriously & were held to journalistic standards that no longer exist. They understood exactly what their words would mean for & to the greater population, & they reported to the best of their abilities & had no problem publicly announcing any mistakes they made.
Ms. Butler Gilliam is also correct in saying that it is the responsibility of minority Journalists to research issues within their own groups & advise those outside those groups of what is going on. I still can't believe that I never heard of Juneteenth or the Tulsa bombings until DJT became president. That is shocking to me.
Every segment in this is informative and encouraging, but the interview with Dorothy Butler Gilliam is *inspiring*!
Can someone tell me the difference between Iran's morality police and Florida and Texas morality police?
I don’t think there is a difference. Ted Cruz and Ron desantis probably like what Iran is doing
One is brown-skinned & Muslim & the other is white-skinned & Christian.
Same story, different book cover.
@dee_dee_place not every iranian person Is brown-skinned. They have yellow and white skinned people too
Why doesn't she just agree but demand that he wear a hotdog costume?
I Missed You! I'm Glad to Find You Again 😅🎉❤
Absolutely loved listening to Dorothy
I like the points that Jay Rosen made, & Soledad O'Brien hit the nail on the head.
Today's Journalism has devolved into Yellow Journalism, & that's across the board.
If we don't hold our Journalists to a moral standard & we sell those standards out for money, we are the purveyors of our own demise.
❤❤❤
Guest hosts cool but miss Trevor
This is a rerun. There hasn't been a new guest host in months. Actors and writers are on strike. Sadly Paramount/Comedy Central owns rights to this content. They plan to rehash everything on TDS until the strike is over. Network executives said they want to hold out until October.
Nice 👍
Trevor is back! Great segment on real journalists!
He is not back. These are old clips.
She nailed it cost and money.
80% of their population can not be under 21 - 😅😂🤣
You are right. Quick research says 38% under 25. Birth rate is falling since years. They have a baby boomer generation now in their 40ies to 50ies...
80% under 21 would mean that every adult works in child care, school or university ... 😂
You definitely have my sub. This content is next level. For me cannafarm ltd was the turning point. Please keep doing what you do and keep being you, love it.
do not come for christiane amanpour or miz dorothy, bc you will lose terribly. they are absolute queens in the journalistic realm.
Cool video! Id like to add that there are other investment options in businesses like cannafarm ltd as well.
I forgot about Trevor's voice issues a few years back.
This clip is still relevant today. We still have CNN and MSNBC 😅
Once the Fairness Doctrine Act was repealed, all news turned into media: an amalgam of news, entertainment, promotion, and editorials with a primary goal of turning a profit. Some had an additional goal of reporting news or advancing a political agenda but profits first. The journalists are real and the reporting is real but the "News" organizations are fake: they're media companies now. Highlighting CNN's and MSNBC 's complicity in this is factually accurate. But--and I'm by no means excusing their complicity--are they really the worst offenders?
Cannot see your reply☝🏼☝🏼
Why are you hiding?
Wait a minute, is Trevor back on Daily Show?
No, he's not coming back. This is a rerun from months ago. Actors and writers are on strike. Sadly Paramount/Comedy Central owns rights to this content. They plan to rehash everything on TDS until the strike is over. Network executives said they want to hold out until October.
Writers strike. Shows like these are just reposting clips and amalgamations of clips until the strike is over.
trevor ist the Daly show
So nice that trevor is back
He's on tour, he's not coming back. Sadly Paramount/Comedy Central owns rights to this. They plan to rehash everything he's done on TDS until the strike is over. Network executives said they want to hold out until October.
Trevor's not back, he's on tour.. Sadly Paramount/Comedy Central owns rights to this. They plan to rehash everything he's done on TDS until the strike is over. Network executives said they want to hold out until October.
Trevor's not back. He's not coming back. This is a rerun. There's a 170,000 worker strike. No new late night until October.
Cryptocurrency is volatile. Diversifying your portfolio is a sensible strategy. For example, I have deposits on Binance where I engage in trading, also staking on Kraken, investing in companies like Cannafarm Ltd, and I also participate in liquidity pools
They don't have a craft, their basically entertainment, sensational reporters.. they're jokes🤔🤣😆
How many ads are you gonna insert in 1 effin video???
Don't complain. You're the one who made the choice not to use an ad blocker.
is the strike over yet?
Executives said they want to hold out until October. The strike will go well into fall.
Can anyone explain why they keep posting videos of Noah? I keep getting confused lol
Writers' strike. They are rerunning old videos until the strike is settled.
Actors and writers are on strike. Sadly Paramount/Comedy Central owns rights to this content. They plan to rehash everything on TDS until the strike is over. Network executives said they want to hold out until October.
Wish the strike were over. Tired of old clips...
I honestly dont understand why youre discussing these dubious schemes. There are plenty of options like Cannafarm Ltd and similar ones that are fast and profitable.
Trevor Noah is back on the DailyShow or he was a guest host??
Looks like he got a raise
Trevor's not back. He's not coming back, he's on tour doing stand-up. Actors and writers are on strike. Sadly Paramount/Comedy Central owns rights to this content. They plan to rehash everything on TDS until the strike is over. Network executives said they want to hold out until October.
They are rerunning old videos until the writers' strike is settled. No writers = no new shows.
@dailyshow so this is it. You couldn’t find a host so the show is going to slowly die?? Just give the show to Ronny Chieng and call it a day 🎉
You obviously haven't heard about the actors and writers strike? No new late night television content until after October. Ronny is on strike, these are reruns. That's not changing until the strike ends.
Luckily you hasn’t asked by therump’s relatives for appearing.
Why not speak in Sanskrit ?
It’s dead too
Is this old I thought he left
He's on strike. Sadly Paramount/Comedy Central owns rights to this. They plan to rehash everything he's done on TDS until the strike is over. Network executives said they want to hold out until October.
Yes…old content being glued together into “new” videos. 😒
Thank you for sharing your insights and recommendations. Its great to explore various investment options, especially well-known companies like Cannafarm Ltd that are gaining popularity. Adding different ventures to our portfolio can help reduce risks in
Thank you for your research. I find your videos are well done. RIght now Im keeping an eye on Cannafarm ltd
He can’t tell a boy from a woman with a scarf and he likes boys. It seems obvious
I want to say thank you to the guy in the comments who recommended cannafarm ltd to me. Youve been very helpful. Thank you!
