Thanksgiving is right around the corner! Make this the year you FINALLY impress your in-laws with the perfect poultry they’ve been craving: kosmosq.com/pages/turkeybrine
I love your outdoor kitchen/man cave.
I would love to have one like that 🤠.
When I dream, I dream of an outdoor kitchen like that lol. Amazing 😊
Excellent Recipe. It did not disappoint. Thanks again. Family loved it.
Kosmo!!! You are the man brother!!! I was thinking of deep frying (again) I never thought of rotisserie, I’m gonna do a test run this weekend. Nothing but luv for you and the team!!! Thanks bro!!
Looks super delicious bro, awesome cook 👍🍺
Look at that color!! Thanks Kosmo!!
Good use of the Beer cooler Bud!! Glad you found the sack too! Probably doesn't get any better than this!! You're the Man!
Appreciate you!!
Love your recipes and videos keep them coming ❤God bless you
Appreciate you 👊🏼💥
I’m making for thanksgiving! 😋
Just ordered some looking forward to doing a rotisserie on charcoal weber 😁
Looks good Kosmo!
Crazy good! Give it a try this Thanksgiving, you won't be sorry
WOOOOOOW LOOKS VERY DELICIOUS 😋 N SUPER JUICY 💯💯💯💯💯💯
Ever since this video came out I couldn’t wait to try. Made a thanksgiving test turkey breast tonight and followed this on the masterbuilt. That injection from the brine, genius!
It wasn’t to salty?
I’m looking to try this my self on my masterbuilt
Did it and flavor .. or did it change the juiciness moreso than adding more flavor
@@derekramos9020 not at all. I think if you reduce the amount of time in the bath it helps.
@@Aldini3rd made it super juicy and added a lot of flavor. Was not bland at all like turkey normally is.
That bird looks delicious and finger licking good 👍😁.
I just finally bought some Dirty Bird, it is fantastic
It's freakin' awesome, enjoy!
This is the plan. Got your brine bundle, weather will be about 60, great day to fire up the Kamado Jottiserrie!!
👊🏼💥
My favourite meat and the best way to cook it too
1000%
Would you still recommend doing this without the rotisserie. My smoker does not have a rotisserie.
Thank you,
What rub did you use?
Wicked bird. Go to see you back
Appreciate you!
Beer can chicken vs beer can turkey and brine both of them. Bird vs bird
What size was this turkey?
I can imagine a cold turkey sandwich with mayo the next day.... 🤤
SO good 👊🏼💥
Can you inject it with the brine juice if you’re deep frying it or bad idea?
We have a fried turkey video coming up! We didn't inject, but did soak it in the brine before frying. The key part to frying a turkey is making sure there is no ICE anywhere 👊🏼💥
Do you not have to rinse the the turkey after the brine process? Im using your Turkey brine. Wanna inject the brine like you did. Does it make it real salty?
Up to you! Rinsing is good, but not totally necessary. If you're just brining, you don't have to inject, but you surely can.
@@KosmosQ don't look like I'm going to have to worry about the rinsing process. The two-day delivery didn't make it today. I guess I won't be having any real good turkey this year. My wife ordered the turkey brine and a dirty bird for this year. Kosmo's Q two day priority delivery failed me. My heart is broken. 💔
Hey Kosmo's Q just wondering what you thought about using your rub as a brine cause i dont believe i can order in time for turkey day here at The Pyeatt house. Lol. And if so what would you recommend for the liquid? Just water? Oh and im gonna use Honey Killer Bee so i don't hear any pansies complain about any heat. Lmao. Thanks! Oh and ill be doing it in the oven
Really wish this was answered
You definitely could! Recommend using distilled water and a whole bunch of rub
Check it out above!
What's the seasoning that he is sprinkling on the bird?
It's our Dirty Bird Rub! You could use the regular or hot version, both are awesome
What wood did you use and How long did you smoke ?
Hickory and it's not about time, it's about temp. You want it at least 165°F
Thanks
@@KosmosQ
Do you want to apply smoke through out the entire cook?
Can I brine the turkey when it’s frozen?
Sure, but it won't work well because it is frozen
Have you ever brined and then injected with the moisture magic?
Not personally. You could, but this brine is really all you need!
How big is that cooler?
Fairly certain it's a 50 QT cooler, but as long as your turkey fits and the lid can be closed, any size will work 👊🏼💥
@@KosmosQ I want one like that
Just ordered the kit for Thanksgiving! We do have a couple of folks that can’t take much heat. Does the rub and the glaze make it very hot? Thanks!
Most people say it's not spicy at all. Let them try a little bit before you cover the whole bird 👊🏼💥
@KosmosQ I watched a handful of your videos and they are slightly different. I plan on trying your spatchcock method and wondering if you recommend injecting the brine like that. Great video and thanks we already ordered the kit!
No the glaze has no heat flavor to it. I was nervous using it but it turned out amazing. The glaze was a huge hit!
@@edgara698 Thank you!
Can I use this brine as an injection as well?
You can, but you might want to dilute more since you're injecting.
Habanero Cherry Shake
😂
So 300 until 145 and then 325 until 165?
Correct!
We need to be able to buy the You Do You shirts!
Stay tuned!
You forgot or couldn't find the giblets?
That knife had trouble cutting through that tuff juicy meat,
Okay then
How much weight have you lost?
i see cooking, not smoking.
Okay then
4 or 5 ft..😅😂
😂
Looks terrible. Don't worry, just bring it over and I will "dispose" of it properly for you. *burp*
Hahaha!
I didn’t care for all the profanity. The bleeping over the cursing was really annoying. So I won’t like this video.
Well, you do you
I did this last Sunday, AWESOME. I would like to see a better turkey tying tutorial however, I got mine tied but it wasn't anything like yours, lol. The other issue was on the Brine Bag it says to use olive oil on skin before rub but after 20-30 minutes 98% of the rub had run off the bird. In this video I saw a can of spray duck fat that was never mentioned, what besides overpriced duck fat would bind the rub better to the bird?
The only turkeys I can find locally is pre-basted, can I use this brine with a pre-baste bird?
You can!
@@KosmosQ I just didn't want my bird overly salty. Do I need to modify the recipe at all?
i could not follow the turkey tie at all because you attached it to a hole and then on one pass had gone around both sides.....
Sounds like you didn't have enough string
Did you use ur dirty bird rub?🤔🤔🤔
You know it!
