My Top 3 Travel Nurse Agencies + inside dish

  • čas přidán 22. 07. 2024
  • •Traditional travel nurse agencies:
    -Host Healthcare (my favorite)
    -Emerald Healthcare
***typical 36hr, 48 or 60/wk contracts for 4-13 weeks. Traditional housing & meal stipends + taxed hourly pay.
    • Government funded emergent staffing companies:
    -Krucial Staffing
    -Favorite Staffing
    -Angel Staffing
*** All pay is taxable & pocketed. Housing & transportation is provided, not optional.
Rates & staffing needs fluctuate regularly, especially during the crises. Also, travel agencies with direct contracts with hospitals may be able to offer higher rates than other agencies.

Hey y’all! Please read the description box for all the deets! Host has been my highest paying traditional travel agency (48hrs/wk) BUT the government funded emergency deployments pay wayyyy more (given you work your life away- 72hrs/wk for it 😂). You just have to decide what works best for you & your schedule. Hope this helps!

I've heard good things about Emerald. I was with HRN, which was bought out by Accountable, and they suck. I was with Flex-Care. They were good. They were the number one ranked several years ago but is still good. I started with American Mobile (AMN). They sucked and were scammy. I know people who like them, and the benefit is that they have assignments everywhere, because they are the Walmart of travel nursing and people love their recruiters. My AMN recruiter was great until she completely lost her mind, screamed at me while crying at the prospect of me leaving.
