I have a w204 1.8 cgi that I've owned for 8 years and it's never let me down.
Apart from regular services I've never had a problem with it. Not once
Same my 63 w04 pre facelift is good as gold to me, never any issues really only tyres 🤣
Calvin you’re right there’s no replacing the noise of the C63, I sold mine and bought another one 6 months later. With some Michelin PS4S it puts power down even in the wet!

We have the two door C63 and the sound is amazing. Starting from cold the initial roar from the engine is beautiful. Always drive through towns with the window down !

They sound incredible, just like the older 5.5 amg engines. They do tune ok, get 40 to 50bhp with them.
Decat and res delete, they pop and bang from factory. Get well soon Calvin. Cant think of what could replace my AMG. Smiles per gallon

I drove one of these very cars once and swore I’d never take a shot of another Scared the shit out of me on a nice quiet B road and cost me a set of michelin PS4 tyres in just under an hour that being said I think it’s the best car Mercedes have built to date and think anyone would be mental to turn down the opportunity to drive one and experience the raw power of them

My mate has a supercharged one with 700+ brake.. its lethal..my brother has a Jag Ftype R sounds similar
The buzz with the differential was that it was prone to leaking. And to get that resealed at the dealer was a heavy price tag for only resealing the differential.

Rear arches asside (no reason why they couldn't have made them flaired) this car is a keeper Calv...a real weapon!! One of the best interiors I've seen in a while..thick leather black seats... and the engine is a n/a with no turbo..which is a plus.. less to go wrong... on an engine like this..it wouldn't be needed.. and would just make it use more fuel...n/a engines run at a constant higher compression/torque anyway... whereas..that only picks up when the turbo kicks in on a turho engine .... Keep it Calv! Proper businessmans whip!!

The last car I added to my collection was a Jag XKR 5.0SC and what tipped the balance for me to get it was your video with the red convertible - that was a few years back now. Great car - l had a coupe version for a year or so , they always start up with a bang hot or cold and if l remember rightly if you rev it to roughly 4-5000 rpm and as the revs drop off a quick rev again and it will make an actual cracking noise - like thunder !! 😁 very childish but awesome 👍

M100 v8 was a 6.3 V8. The6.2L engine is code name M156. They put “63” in memory of the old V8. Not a ZF either
Great review as always! Although bit rich complaining about the rear arches when the quadrifoglio has the worst arches of any modern car for a 500+ Bhp car, looks like a normal Alfa front and rear arches😂
