I moved 2 weeks after finishing my bachelor's degree program. It was easier to mindlessly pack everything and decide while unpacking if it was worth figuring out where it needed to exist or if it needed to get loaded into the car to donate. I joked with the local charity shop that I moved things 400 miles just to donate it to them.

Reese I don't know how difficult Boe (sp?) is to groom, but you may want to consider grooming him yourself. I have three doodles and a small Coton de Tulear, all of which need to be groomed. I bought myself some grooming scissors, an Andis Dog Grooming razor, and some razor guards, then watched groomers on youtube show me how to cut my dogs. I have been cutting them the past 5 yrs. Now they are not perfect, but I have actually had people tell me how well groomed they are. I have saved a ton of money.

Yes! I got a new number when I started my new life with my new husband across the country. I also got a new email when I remarried because my last name was in my old one. Do it! It is so cathartic and freeing. I also got rid of a bunch of stuff. I’m not sure about the area code though. I got to pick the middle 3 numbers from a list, then for the last 4 there was another list to choose from. I went to the Apple store, bought a phone outright, got Mint ($15.00...I pay $180 once a year, then nothing monthly), and had my phone number added to that account. It's awesome to not think about monthly phone bills. Also, Verizon's monthly cost kept going up, so I left them after over 20 years.
I hope someone reminded you to erase your phone before you give it to Jeff. Do you know how much of your stuff is actually stored on the phone? It's internal storage not the sim card. Or make sure it's all transferred to the cloud and off the phone storage. 😂 That could be scary.
