I’m not surprised that cost is an issue with completing the build and then going racing. Running any sort of business in this country is insanely difficult at the moment, materials have pretty much doubled in cost in a few years and customers with spare cash are in very short supply. The standard of your work is absolutely first class, I hope you can get the mini built to your satisfaction eventually Matt.

Very nice render! 3DSmax and AutoCad take a bit of effort to get your head around but it feels satisfying once you get close to building a model, similar to building real cars. That Mini will be MEGA! Great content as always.

Great to see you back, Names on the Mini for those who donate to get it finished, put up the cost for breaks for example and ask for donations, as you check items off, put up the next bit you need. Post the work scroll the names of the donors at the end with the promise of their names on the Mini?

Great video. Having built a mini miglia myself back in the early 90s I know your pain. The costs can get out of hand really quickly. I managed a whole season before having to sell it due to "personal" issues. Keep at it though, they're really fun to drive.

I would definitely come to your welding classes Matt, you’re an artisan when it comes to welding. The flight from Qld Australia is off putting though, maybe on line classes. Looking forward to the mushy pea hill climbs

No mate not completely, it seems everyone refers to it as the Mushy Pea now though.
Just a thought mini automatics had the hardy spicer drivrshafts .
Compbrake still knocking out absolute crap 30 or so years on..............originally called Trans Auto Sport, they were so bad they had to change their name
