    I'm certainly enjoying your videos. I'm also glad you seem to have done so well at only 3 weeks out! I should find out my surgery date at the end of this week, and I'm hoping for as good of results as you are getting with this process! I hope you have a great week!

    so glad you are doing well! My period is a beast, and i have an IUD which is supposed to help it be less crazy, what the heck! I used Chantix as well, and I had some crazy ass dreams, but nothing scary, and I was able to quit with it. I think I had crazier dreams during my pregnancy, lol. congrats on you progress sweets!

    Hi Erin, you are doing so well. I am inspired by your journey. I thank you so much for making your videos so informative and full of details. I appreciate your honesty and candor. I am in the early stages on my path to surgery. I see the RN tomorrow here in Ottawa. Did you purchase the syrups locally or online? Thanks for the tip about the Laughing Cow wedges. It has been so lovely finding your channel and I happily subscribed. Take Care. ☺

      Hiya Lana, good luck on your journey! I got my syrups at lowcarbcanada.ca Prices seem reasonable & they had fast shipping. Thanks for subscribing!

    I feel the same tenderness right above the rib cage. You're doing so well! I've been thinking of getting on my bike but it's a road bike so I'm not too sure I have the core strength to ride it yet. 800 calories is great and your killing the protein!! I'm getting pushed back to broth AGAIN because I have too much restriction.

      I seem to be in between sizes too!! I feel I look a little sloppy but I too have clothes I'm hoping to fit into soon. I've gone from a size 20 to 18 in less than 3 weeks. 18 is loose but 16 doesn't fit yet so I'm just going to wait and see if I loose a few inches next month. A clothes haul of your fall clothes would be nice 😉

      Yes, very much looking forward to doing some back to school shopping at the end of August! My bike is a cruiser with a nice saddle seat... Pretty comfortable!

    I'm all caught up!!!! I've enjoyed watching your journey and will continue to do so. I'm so far away from any procedure that I'm still at the research stage. I'm just curious, and I ask this of everyone, What made you choose RNY over VSG or any other weight loss surgery? Congrats on the weight loss to date!!

      Thanks for watching! Here in Ontario it's not really a choice unless there is a medical reason to do the sleeve instead. Basically the choice is if you do it or not, so it kinda makes it easy 🙂

      What is the weight time there like? At the clinic I've been referred to here in BC its over 2 years :(

      I'm not sure of the wait time to be honest. I took longer because I went into college last year for nursing & put this on hold so I could have surgery during my summer break instead of during the school year. So I was longer than 2 years from referral to surgery. Although I have a local friend who started the process in January & had surgery 4 days before me.

      I just gotta keep looking and if it takes me 2 years so be it :)

    Hi. I am surprised by your macros. Also your salt intake. Is this a reason for this?

      +Erin RNY The high porportion of protein/fat/salt. Is this due a nutritional requirement from the surgery?

    • @wowmamaerinrny9646
      @wowmamaerinrny9646  Před 8 lety

      Hiya Toni, sorry for taking a while to reply, I'm camping with my family! I don't believe I mention sodium but I'm following my clinics plan as far as protein is concerned. They want me getting between 77 & 115 grams of protein every day. Fat & carbs are just falling into place after I get my protein. Once I'm farther out I should be able to reduce the fat & up the carbs as I increase my veggie intake. Still haven't tried raw veggies yet. Hope that answers your question. Feel free to ask again if it wasn't to your satisfaction :)

      +Erin RNY No all good. I am a normal weight but hubby is looking at doing this and trying to find out as much as I can!
