2 bass singers that can can sing tenor. One usually sings baritone. The beatboxer, on the occasion that he sings is a tenor who can hit bass notes. Very versatile group.
Welcome to Home Free. It is quite a ride & a fun one too. Try their cover of the Doobie Brothers 1972 hit "Listen to the music". Also they have great originals too, like, Why Not?, DIVE BAR SAINTS, and lonely Girls World. Also some others - their angelic and gut wrenching cover of Dire Straits "Brothers in Arms"....that is an acapella masterpiece.
Tim, their "basso profundo", actually has a 5+ octave range and is clear and pure all the way thru it.

the lady on the left (Cheryl?) seemed to fall in love with Austin (long hair) right away lolll same girl same. You guys should check out When a Man Loves a Woman. His husky voice makes him sound lower than Rob(first lead in this song), but he's actually the high tenor and can belt crazy high notes.
They have Tim who is bass,and Adam Chance ( Chance) who is baritone who can sing bass and who will take over so that Tim can take lead. You are right when you said that they don’t outshine each other, and what makes them so great in my opinion. They all can take lead, except Adam Rupp who focuses on beat boxing and harmonizing- still a great singer and phenomenal beat boxer. Rob is tenor with glasses and short hair, and Austen is other tenor with red hair.

The 2 tenors of Home Free Austin Brown and Rob Lundquist try their hand at Opera. They just released "Nessun Dorma", It's on Austin Brown's channel.
You have just been introduced to the best a cappella group out there. These guys are all so talented. They lean towards country but they can do any genre. They all can take the lead depending on whos voice is best for the song. They are known for their tight harmonies. Tim Foust is one of the best bass singers out there & their beatboxer vocal percussionist Adam Rupp can simulate any sound.
Rob and Austin (the two tenors) just premiered their cover of Puccini's "Nessun Dorma" last night, You should check it out, it's on Austin's channel. These guys do so much more than country.
Rob did very well indeed but he did train opera in college..Austin was a bit too nasal as usual and musical theater training was showing, but he did very well!
These guys take everything and make it better.
You should here that tenor sing opera! Actually, the red head is the high tenor. This group has so many layers and levels you can't begin to imagine. This is a rabbit hole you should really explore, so many different styles to enjoy! Great reaction!

One of my favorite Home Free songs. Everybody gets to "show off" a little, but not in a "show-offy" way, if that makes any sense at all. I hope you continue down their playlist. It's enormous and pretty uniformly fabulous. Enjoy!
Love your reaction! You were really close, Home Free won the 4th season of the Sing off. They are the first Country acapella group, but can any genre of music. If you are interested in going down this rabbit hole you might want to check out something non-country also. I suggest Listen to the Music or Can't Stop the Feeling. I have yet to find a bad song by them.
Tim (Bass) and Chance (Barritone) did a double dive at the end that I love. Tim and Austin (High Tenor) do a gorgeous split all the time where Austin climbs into the attic while Tim dives in the basement. Hillbilly Bone is a good example.

The red-head, Austin, is actually is the high tenor and Rob, dark hair and beard is the tenor. The guy that sang on the first verse, Tim, is a super bass and the other guy that was singing, Chance (his name is Adam Chance) is a bass/baritone. Adam Rupp (he goes by Adam) is one of the co-founders and primarily beatboxes, but is also a great tenor. So in this group you have 5 beatboxers 5 people who can sing tenor and 2 of those sing all the way down to bass. They share the lead based on what is best for the song and are ALL Amazingly talented and generous with each other and their fans. If you continue to react to them their fans, the Home Fries, will flock to your channel. They are very loyal to these guys and will reward you for giving them air time.

Home Free is the real deal. They won the 4th season of the NBC show the Sing Off. They’re all tremendous singers! As a matter of fact, Austin (redheaded high tenor) and Rob (glasses and tenor) just tried opera. It’s wonderful - you can look for it on AustinBrowns channel - Two country singers try opera. Tim is the bass but has a 5 octave range so he can sing super low and then sing up with the tenors. Chance (short dark beard) is the baritone/bass. Adam is the beatboxer and he’s tremendous. You should try headphones if you can. Try Helplessly Hoping, Brothers in Arms, Die a Happy Man, In the Blood, One Man Band. Good reaction!😀

They can make you laugh sometimes, they can make you cry sometimes but they always impress. Here's a cheat sheet on the group: Adam Rupp, co-founder of HF and the awesome beatboxer. Tim Foust, bass. He has a five-octave range. Robb Lundquist (glasses and beard) Tenor Harmony. Austin Brown, Lead Tenor. Adam Chance, Baritone ( goes by Chance). Chance replaced Chris Rupp (co-founder) who left in 2016. Take Me Home Country Roads is phenomenal but you might also want to check out Dreamer, When A Man Loves A Woman, End Of The Road, One Man Band, I Swear, Blue Ain't Your Color, and Folsom Prison Blues. For some funny ones: Butts Medley, All About That Bass, Champagne Taste, Hillbilly Bone. For some serious ones: How Great Thou Art, Go Rest High On That Mountain. I loved your reactions to my favorite acapella group. These guys are so down to earth and no ego's. The music and the fans are what matters to them. I would love to see you guys react to Country Roads (John Denver cover). It is an amazing cover from these guys and i think you would really appreciate where they go with it. Welcome to HOME FREE !! HOME FREE is a county A Capella band (NO INSTRUMENTS) that does more than just country. Tim Foust, the bass (5 octave range) , Adam Rupp, the beatboxer (freak of nature), Adam Chance (Chance) is the baritone/bass, since 2016, he took over for Chris Rupp (one of the founders of the group), Rob Lundquist, tenor and Austin Browmn high tenor make up the voices of angels. Home Free are the best! There is nothing they can't do. Check out their cove of End of The Road to get the rhythm and blues feel. They also do 70 and 80's music. Check their cover of Listen to the Music. Originally done to the Doobie Brothers. They are all around awesome! Love your reactions!
Home Free is more _country themed_ than a true country group. They do a lot of other things on top of country. In fact, they only have a few purely country songs that they do. If you are going to do more reactions to Home Free though, I strongly warn you not to do their cover of 'Mayday' by CAM until you know them better. They do something surprising in that video that people new to the group tend to miss. For some primers a few of my favorites of theirs are, 'Die A Happy Man', 'Think A Little Less', 'In The Blood' is really beautiful and their original songs 'Why Not' and 'Champaign Taste On A Beer Budget' is fun.
If you want to react to see Tim Foust’s (Home Free’s Bass Singer) versatility as a singer in his range, check out his solo acapella single, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay. His range will make your jaw drop to the floor. :)

Appalachians are referred to as high talkers(not only sing but also talk through their noses) in my neck of the woods. As usual, Sean is a punching bag for the ladies(bruises up and down his arms). How about some "Voice Play"(with heart throb, Geoff Castellucci) in upcoming episodes?
The guy singing baritone was the bass for his previous vocal group, so they have 2 bass singers.

You'll find the bass, Tim Faust, has a 5 octave range.

You should hear them through headphones. Most people's speakers don't do the bass justice.
Start digging into this group with over 125+ covers and some originals. They will surprise you with who is doing what and they make covers sound better than many of the originals (personnaly have yet to find where they don't upgrade with the cover). This group is so amazing and so diverse in their abilities and flat out entertaining. They keep anyone and everyone interested in how they will treat the next release and how they are going to outperform any expectation one could imagine. They simply surprize us each time in the outcome. Go Home Free..........!!!!!! Caught them in Live concert this year and they carry right through with excellence!!! One change since they became famous. Please don't denigrate the group and make them sound dysfunctional.
In all their videos on their website you will see only one other member being Chris Rupp who left in 2016 to be replaced by Adam Chance. Please do not make statements that are not based on fact.
@@jadaskye I guess your idea of being popular is different than mine. As far as their website, yes there is a tendency to only show the most recent and popular tunes. To me, once you can support yourself and do it fulltime, is when you have made it. That happened in 2007 and there have been 'many' member changes since then.
