POMOLY Dome X4 is a free-standing dome shaped tent designed for winter camping. Dome X4 is a convenient and solid tent for 2 people with wood stove. When using the inner tent, there is spacious room for 2 people. The 6 tent poles of the Dome X4 are all the same length. The Dome X4 adopts a point symmetric and linear symmetric structure, so it can withstand severe weather and heavy snow.
The detachable ground sheet of Dome X4 is specially designed for the wood stove. There is a piece of heat-resistant fabric right below the stove jack, so even if the burning carbon fire falls on the floor mat, it won't burn the ground sheet. If we remove the ground sheet, the X4 will become a hot tent for ice fishing. With the addition of a stove as a heat source, fishing and cooking in the tent will be more comfortable.
Dome X4 tent is up to 4 person in size or provides a spacious living space inside for a solo camper with tent stove, and it has three doors on both the inner and outer tents for direct entry and exit from the inner tent.
The jack stove with velcro can be easily used for renewal, and the outside is equipped with a placket and a waterproof zipper to enhance the waterproof performance.
The ground sheet with fireproof cloth is suitable for most tent stoves on the market.
Removable buckle-in ground sheet for ice fishing.
The detachable triangular mesh at the top can be used to dry wet gloves and socks.
The outer tent is equipped with three controllable triangular vents, which can improve the ventilation inside the tent.
The three doors are double-layer design, and No-see-um bug mesh on all doors and vents.
All seams are treated with waterproof taping to ensure no leaks in rain or snow.
The inner tent is made of waterproof fabric and can easily accommodate the camping cot.
The integrated stove jack makes the surface of the tent more flat, the triangular cloth (rain cover) with waterproof zipper can completely cover the stove jack, and the small plackets on both sides can prevent rainwater from touching the zipper.
Fabric
The ground sheet can be fixed by six buckles with adjustable webbing, and one-sixth of the area is made of fireproof fabric, so even if the high-temperature charcoal fire accidentally falls on the mat, it will not be burnt.
(Tips: Flame retardant fabric can prevent the ground sheet from being burned, but it cannot isolate the high temperature 100%, and the high temperature charcoal fire will still burn the lawn and wooden floor.)
The three doors of the outer tent are double-layered, and the mesh door can prevent mosquitoes from entering the tent, and both doors can be independently controlled. The inner tent also has three doors, the two doors at the back correspond to the outer tent, and we can easily enter and exit from any door.
All doors and vents are controlled with free-moving elastic fasteners.
When we use the tent stove, the hot air rises and the temperature on the top gradually increases, and we can place the wet gloves on the top for drying.
The Dome X4 feature a controllable vent, we can close the vent in the cold weather to keep the temperature inside the tent, and the openable window of the inner tent can control the vent of the outer tent.
In order to achieve the best waterproof effect, all joints are treated with high temperature glue pressing.
The tent pegs of Dome X4 are made of high-strength aluminum alloy, and the thickened material ensures the service life of the tent pegs.

i bought this tent from Pomoly. the next night it used to snow heavily, the snow accumulated on the top of the tent, between the poles which make a receptacle then on the top sides still between the poles. then with the weight of the snow, the tent collapsed and bended all poles making them unusable. i email Pomoly's support and got no answer at all! my conclusion is that the tent is not designed for heavy snow and don't expect any support in case of problem. Pomoly is a chinese company to avoid!
Unlucky, that's strange as I've had mine covered in snow and its been fine. I always get great support from Pomoly. I will continue to use Pomoly tents and stoves as I like them and gave several of their tents👍🏕🏴👌
Sorry to hear the tent collapsed, the customer service should definitely response to your email, but maybe it’s national holiday in China at this moment. Lunar new year. Business can be paused and slowed down for up to 15 days. Hope they contact you soon.

Thanks for the great Review/overview, the Tent looks the business. I noticed on the video it looked like you had the stove at the entrance, im presuming you are able to site it at the side or back of the tent, so you could leave the entrance area free?
No problem. The tent has 3 doors so you don't need to clamber out by the stove. A great tent, really am impressed with it👍🏴🏕👌
Been looking for the perfect tent as a first time buyer but looking for quality and im not fond of square tents either due to unpredictable weather and storms. But this might just be my final decision! 😁

Yeah no bother, I was away last week with it, had 2 cot beds inside it plus the stove, didn't put the half inner up, just the outer shell, plenty of room, great tent👍🏕👌

Yeah a great tent, I usually just take the outer shell and my cot bed and still lots of room. I've a few videos with camps I've done in it with just the Cot bed and stove. Highly recommend and the do a bigger X6 version as well

How many pennys for ? £350/400, I got a pomoly on sale , but called leo 2. It was £200, worth every penny compared to rrp. Easy to put up, plenty space for one, and little gear wood bags , and a cot. Plus designated area for stove , cant afford pomoly stove yet , as mine 6kg. ( thankf...) for the x type. Curious now bout the x4'

That's cool that it's free standing since the tipi tents with the pole in the center are not really free standing - and if you don't get the pegs in good then it's not going to stay up well. The other issue is the nylon burns too easily - so that stove jack has to be reinforced with extra insulation. Their stove jack material starts to melt, etc. The tent stakes are not set up for frozen ground - so an investment in same real railroad spike deals or animal trap spikes are needed. Plus a heavy mallet. $490? Holy smokes! That's way too over-priced. You can't even stand up in that tent. Hilarious. It's not like it's a cabin tent you can walk around it.
Each to their own, I like it. Pegs went in fine, decent size for me, wouldn't want a cabin tent tbh
@@Colinrussellscottishwildcamper how "frozen" is your ground? I live in part of the coldest lowest 48 of the U.S. - those tent stakes would just bend. They're aluminum right? C'mon! hahahaha. A real winter tent has to have real winter tent stakes. Yes a cabin tent is not gonna be portable like this Sil-Nylon - I get that. But if you can't stake the tent in then it's gonna require real stakes. It looks like the "loops" have enough space to hold real spikes? Sometimes those tent stake loops are super tiny!! Sometimes even those cheap aluminum pegs barely fit through the tent stake loop.

Decent tent, spent all night in the pouring rain and snow, no leaks. Got a few Pomoly tents and they have all been decent, this one's lower in height but they have all different types of hot tent. 👍🏕🤘
