      Actually i think u should use the following command:
      apt install linux-headers-$(uname -r | sed ‘s,[^-]*-[^-]*-,,’)

    I don't know why it's not working, this is what I see:
    make ARCH=x86_64 CROSS_COMPILE= -C /lib/modules/6.6.9-amd64/build M=/root/rtl8812au modules
    make[1]: *** /lib/modules/6.6.9-amd64/build: No such file or directory. Stop.
    make: *** [Makefile:1728: modules] Error 2
    Maybe you can help me

      @@garyschrock5736 You're missing your linux-headers.
      I doubt 6.6.9 are still available, so do 'apt search linux-headers' and you'll see the supported headers. Say linux-heaaders-6.8.11-amd64 is listed, install it with 'apt install linux-headers-6.8.11-amd64', and then REBOOT into the version running the kernel 6.8.11. Try again, should compile.

    I was able to get it from git hub via clone, however "make" "sudo make" tells me that the command if invalid. any suggestions?

    installing headphone dirvers for differernt chipset are much more difficult than wifi dirvers task as for me...

    didnt work for me im using kali v2024.1 when i use the command make i get an error

    any idea how to fix it

      @@jackgelin6178 on kali 2024 it wont work, kali 2023 apt-update wont work and if i fix this issue, the kernal will be update automatically and it wont work

    If it only was this easy. I have Kali Linux on my phone, VM on Mac and on Windows and on Raspberry Pi. On none of them does this work

    I have a Alfa AWUS036ACM but im having trouble connecting it to kali linux on oracle vm it either says the usb cant be connected or it disconnects after a few mins is there a fix?

      Your USB is sharing between the guest and host. It's an easy fix just set up a USB filter on your hypervisor
