    Its amazing how humans created such complicated machines. From simple tools like spears made out of a stick and bones from animals to complex mechanism of a vehicle. Imagine what we can do after a couple of centuries from now.

      Main disadvantage is the jerky motion that can be experienced when slowly moving from a standstill, as is typical in stop-and-go traffic. But between dry and wet DCTs, mas tatagal ang wet type.

    5:00 this is not only the downside of the CVT. You won't realize until you actually drive CVT car, or even scooters. The CVT transmission is not very efficient. If that's really efficient then why heavy trucks dey don't use CVT?, Because of slippage. Pag na stock yung gulong mo at naipit sa bato or muds, Hindi makakagalaw yong gulong mo nakuha point ko? The main major drawback about cvt is, it suffers from Staying Rev for way way too long, this causes of Engine heating issues even overheating at sometime, despite it's quick acceleration just like electric motor. But unlike it. It lose large amount of torque, also called indirect drive, oviously pulley/belt slippage occurred, the torque also loses, they don't have enough force to make alot of torque, kapag dumulas na yung belt or pulley, hihina na yung hatak nya kasi dumudulas na yung belt/pulley ehh, so indirect drive na sya, subukan nyu ipitin yung gulong ng malalaking bato or isang malaking bakal i kawit nyo sa mio or click, hindi makakagalaw yung gulong kahit max throttle pa yan, dahil sa pulley/belt slippage. Isa pa kung ano yung birit mo sa throttle ay sya ring speed mo. Kung max throttle kana hanggang doon lng yung top speed mo, di kagaya ng automatic, manual, DCT aka (DSG) kahit low RPM lng around 4k-5000 RPM lng basta nasa 4-5Gear ka mabilis kana, isa pang major downside ng CVT is hindi kayang gawin ang tinatawag na, Engine Breaking, pag nag downhill ka, wala kang choice kundi tapakan ng madiin ang preno mo dahil no ability to engine break means mabilis uusad pababa ng Hindi mo ma control ang pagusad mo pababa kapag downhill, ito ang isa pang rason kung bakit wlang CVT sa mga heavy trucks dahil wla syang Engine break na magiiwas sana sa aksidente dulot ng out of control downhill speed, mabilis ding masira yung belt or pulley dahil nga dumudulas ito, at nagagasgas ang parte kung saan naka connect ang belt/pulley sa sliding gears.

    I have a Hyundai Accent Hatch, DCT siya. Agree ako regarding sa repair cost. Naramdaman ko na nag jjerk ung kotse ko. Pina check ko, nasunog pala clutch . Eh kailangan paltan and it cost 50k. Buti di nasira ang actuator na ang price naman is 70k. Sa labas na ng casa ang price nyan.

    CVT transmission has less power compared to AT. AT has less power compared to MT. And that belt in CVT, there is a chance it will break compared to actual gears

    I have been driving manual all my life, para sakin walang tatalo sa mt.. The freedom it gives, its quickness on the road, the no frills direct power from engine to the tires. Call me old fashion, pero un talaga feeling ko eh. I tried driving my sons ford ranger with 6spd AT, ang pangit talaga ng feeling ko nagmaneho nun, para akong naglalakad na may humihila sa likod ko na pabigat, ang pangit ng feeling.

      1st of all, wala naman gustong talunin ang manual e. Di ko alam bakit may ganyang mindset yung ibang mga manual drivers. Ginawa ang matic para sa mga gustong relax lang ang driving, tapos. Bakit nyo laging ginagawan ng competition? Dude, 2023 na lol.

      Para saken wala tatalo sa AT subra komportabli rilax na rilax hende katolad ng pangit na manual sos wala naman ako pakelam kong mas magnda hatak nyan komport at safety is what im after, lalo na modirn na mga transmession. Manual transmession ang kutsi piro wala pa 200hp dyos ko po iholog mo nalang sa dumpsite baka pwide pa yan pataba sa lopa

      @@pugimeaku9221 sos, wala naman akong pakialam sa komport at sifti mo na yan.. Pangalawa, kakain ng alikabok yang 200+ hp na AT mo sa 100hp na manual ko, sa city driving, kaya mas bagay na iholog sa dumpsite yang 200+hp mong AT, kse mas lalong tataba ang lupa.
