Starlink RV Setup Caravan Edition! Fast pack up time while travelling and getting super quick speeds

This video will show you how we set up our Starlink RV while travelling Australia in our caravan! We utilise minimal tools (a couple of boat bungs, a drill and a power board) to set up our Starlink very quickly and with minimal mess (even after a big bout of rain in a mud puddle!). We have taken inspiration from others, but haven't seen anything quite like this set up. Our modem is internally accessible and additional cable is easily retrieved when needed. Most modems that we have seen inside are sitting on the floor, so we have found a great way to mount ours that allows for high download (and upload) speeds and it's great on storage (it takes up no additional floor space unlike the other options that we have seen). Storage is so important when you live in a caravan after all!

Does the modem get overheated in the bag? Also how much power is it using during connection in an off grid situation? Great vid 👍🏼

Hey guys! The modem definitely gets hot but has never had any issues, the Starlink in off grid situation normally uses about 5.5amps per hr. We normally switch it off before bed to avoid using to much power over night.
