- I am back at Whakarewarewa Mountain bike park in Rotorua for some epic post xmas riding. Track closures and flat tires don't help but still a great days riding with friends.

Happy New Year Lance! Your footage is looking so good! Nice and crisp, it just tells me I need to keep working on my settings and grading skills
Nothing makes me happier than one someone says the footage looks good. After years of blurry images it finally looks OK. I don't colour grade. 4k made a big difference as did getting fibre to the house and a more powerful computer to edit it. Upping the resolution in editing made the biggest difference I think.

Not sure how you managed it but you seemed to have captured a sense of speed in this vid 👍. GoPro land has a habit of making everything slower, flatter and insignificant. As always, was a great day out. Thank goodness you didn’t get my trip over the bars on camera 😅

It is Rotorua so mostly rotten eggs. Geothermal area. You get used to the smell after awhile.

Looking forward to the Ultra Rosa video. If you are looking challenge closer to home check at Matt Munfords new trial in Riverhead, Donkey Kong. I think it will be right up your alley. Trailforks says grade 4, but it’s definitely Grade 5.
Will definitely check that out. Nearly went there today but pulled the pin when the rain came down.
Trails are holding up really well. Seem to be absorbing the rain and drying out faster than the rain can come down.

So I'm looking at getting a long travel bike any recommendations I'm 6.1 65kg
Wow that is a big question. I love helping people, but I have too many questions. Ebike/non e bike, DH/enduro, budget, what country? My suggestion KTM prowler E bike. Best bike ever.
I'm a kiwi none e-bike and I enduro a bit wish I could do more but I'm kinda restricted because of my area and also is 130mm of travel enough for blue teach at the Christ Church adventure park
I know you weren't asking me but I ride at CAP and I reckon 130mm of decent quality suspension is enough to take you most places at CAP (Arms might get a bit sore but that can't be completely stopped even with a longer travel bike) Hopefully that helps 👍@@LJ_Adventure79

Guess I am a numpty riding with numpties as nobody was carrying anything. I tend to get a flat tire like this about once every second year so will often only carry things when going on long rides. You can't beat the feeling of riding without a backpack.
